Everybody lies. If they say they don't, they're lying! laugh

People lie for a variety of reasons. Mostly it's because they're afraid to face the consequences of their actions. Simple as that.

I find it funny that somebody thinks it's acceptable to lie about cheating on their partner because they don't want to hurt them or risk losing them. Well Einstein, perhaps you should have thought about that before cheating on them and you wouldn't need to lie about it! whoa

I personally see no reason to lie, not even 'white lies'. For example:

I ask my boyfriend "Does this dress make my arse look fat?". what

I don't want to hear the honest truth, "Like a damn tank!"

But I also don't want him to lie and say "No baby, you look hot!" drool ...when I actually look like a tank. slaphead

The correct answer would be "I like that little black dress you have better." No lie, no hurt feelings, you just need a little tact to tell the truth in most circumstances to avoid the 'white lies'. It isn't always easy, but it's always better to tell the truth no matter what. Lying is just plain wrong. Period!

Had that discussion at different dating sites. I myself don't understand why ppl don't get it themselves. Thing is, it's not women per say wanting taller men, it's also men wanting women shorter than they are themselves.
Most men don't feel comfy with a 'sky scraper' next to them, emasculating I spose.
For a woman it's similar: I don't feel particularly feminine, sexy nor protected / safe (primal instinct thing) when I'm taller than my partner.
I simply am not attracted to shorter man. The man can be attractive and I will notice that too, but I won't feel attracted to him.
I'm 5'9" myself, never really noticed shorter men feeling attracted to me. Works both ways.

The number of men that like tall women is limited, even tall men usually prefer women that barely reach their elbows.
The fact that most men drool over slender, short women, doesn't help to change views and definitely doesn't help taller women to feel comfortable with a shorter man.

Agree Crystal. I'm 5'7" and I prefer a man right around 6 ft. I feel odd towering over my man, so that height gives me some clearance when I throw the spiked heels on to dress up now and again. Plus I honestly worry about crushing a little dude in the bedroom, not that I'm enormous, but I don't want to break anyone so I prefer a guy who is bigger than me by a fair bit. shades

Ladies do you go for the clean shave, suit kinds guy or the 5 o'clock shadow jeans kinda guy?en do you go for the all dressed up lady like kind a girl or the more relaxed laid back jeans and t/ shirt kinda girl?
For me I like the more rugged like the jeans and t- shirt kinds guy

Grew up in the sticks so I'm definitely more in favor of the rugged look, jeans or Carharts and scruff. Wasn't much choice in my neck of the woods where suit and tie guys were rare, other than weddings, funerals, holidays, or special occasions when even a redneck cleans up well.

Plus I'm not a girly girl type, I'm more tomboyish in jeans, tee and a ballcap half the time myself, so I doubt suit type guys would be attracted to me. Don't get me wrong, I can and do dress up when the mood hits or it's required, but I'm way more comfortable at a ballgame than at a gala charity ball for instance. I'd take a blue collar guy over a white collar guy 99 times out of 100. love

It's the coach's job to get the most out of his players, to make sure they're playing up to their potential. It's his job to change things if there are problems, therefore if the team fails, then he's held responsible. The players have to play, but the coach ultimately decides WHO plays and who goes. That's my best analysis.

Everybody wants to be good looking. Everybody is obsessed with the way they look. They spend vast amounts of cash on nip and tucks, boob jobs, tanning salons, face creams etcetera.

But what if the state actually tried to breed a superhuman race? Everybody would be born picture perfect. Imagine that, a world full of Marlon Brando's, Elvis Presley's, Marylin Monroe's and Liz Taylor's.

This is not just some pipe dream, this can happen. All we need to do is will it.

Apparently you are mistaken when you claim "Everyone wants to be good looking. Everybody is obsessed with the way they look. They spend vast amounts of cash on..."

I'm not good looking and I don't spend any money on trying to make myself look better. I have gray hair that stays gray. I wouldn't get a boob job, a tummy tuck or any other such cosmetic surgery EVER. I wander out of the house without make-up on, dressed in an old tee and sweats, and I could give a crap what people think of how I look. It's not the outside package that matters, it's what's inside that counts. So please don't say 'everyone'...perhaps you should say 'the majority of people' instead.

Screw making everyone perfect looking...clone the spirit of Mother Teresa or Ghandi and implant that in people if you want to improve the human race. Now that's a pipe dream!

Old yeller, where the red fern grows, hachi, yes there is a trend. I love my doggies :)

When did "Where the Red Fern Grows" come out as a movie? I don't know if I can watch it. I'm positive it would do a number on me too! tears

1974. There was a sequel in 1992, and a remake in 2003.

Now I know! Learn something knew everyday. Guess I can check cerebral intake off the To Do list now and go rent this movie if I wanna bawl my eyes out. Thanks Torgo. flowerforyou

Get a degree on cognitive consciousness and get the skill to count your thoughts in seconds, minutes, hourly and days

I have a degree in biobehavioral psychology, which is why I said it would be impossible to calculate that ratio of positive to negative thoughts for a day. I know how the brain works, how neurons fire to produce thoughts, and the vast majority of people could never keep track for more than a few minutes. Even if you multiply your one minute assessment by 1440 (# mins/day), you aren't getting a valid result for the 24 hr time frame based on one minute of activity. Plus things change minute to minute during the day so you really would have to sit there ALL DAY contemplating each and every thought. You don't have to be a shrink to know you'd have to be nuts to even attempt such a pointless endeavor! noway

Ever wondered if you could just wake up one morning abandon your life and travel out to some place where no one knows you and start up a new life, can u relate?

Nope, I don't wonder about it anymore. Did it two years ago. Abandoned everyone I knew and headed 1500 miles south all by my lonesome for some fun in the sun in Florida. shades

I spend 20 years being Mom, and I wanted a chance to be just me again. Don't exactly see it as starting a 'new life' though. It's just a new chapter in this same 'ole life I already have!

I don't think you need to run out and get a sex change to accomplish your desire. You can get a different strange woman to come onto you every single night for a mere $50 or so. I actually don't know what hookers charge so don't quote me, but I'm thinking they like you no matter what, problem solved without becoming a woman.

As for how lucky us women are for being able to get sex whenever we want...I think it's just the ultimate gift from God for us having to squeeze out a head the size of a basketball through a hole the size of a quarter. Give birth just once, then come see me about how lucky us women are! slaphead

50 bucks! too much for just a bj, a bit high for straight sex, but a bargain if it's half and half. *she provides the protection of course

(current going rate according to manO/rent.a.stud/manwhOre@hotbuns.orgy)

rofl

I told you I had no clue what hookers charge! And I don't even wanna know what 'half and half' is! noway ill

Tell ManO thanks for the clarification! flowerforyou

Could you count the number of thoughts, both positive and nagative that cross your mind daily? Be sincere and tell us please

The mere thought makes my head hurt! Now I need to know if that one thought that 'the mere thought makes my head hurt' is a negative thought or a positive thought. But I just had that second thought without knowing the answer to the first thought, so now I'm behind in thoughts, and is this thought negative or positive? Do you see where I'm going with this?!? frustrated

So my answer is...No more so than you could count the grains of sand on a beach or waves in an ocean. My thoughts run rampant in either direction depending on the weather of my spirit. Sometimes I'm storming, sometimes it's clear sailing and a beautiful day. I only know the general sense of things, can't quantify a specific ratio of positive to negative for all the thoughts that cross my mind on any given day. I'd go insane after ten minutes and I'm already more than half way there! laugh

I can't pick just one place. I wanna see everywhere. Australia, all of Europe, Africa, Carribean Islands, Alaska, the Grand Canyon on a donkey...

You name it, I wanna go there! There are just way too many places I haven't seen that I want to visit someday. My spirit longs to roam. shades

I would have an easier time telling you where I DON'T want to go. Hell. That's all. Everywhere else is a go!

offtopic ...but sorta relevant pkh flowerforyou ...

...This was the book that cemented my love of reading! I bawled my eyes out and dreamt that someday I would write like that. It just amazed me that words written on pages could inspire such strong emotions in the reader, as if I was actually there experiencing the story.

Actually, many of the movies that inspire waterworks from my overactive tear ducts also inspired them as books first...Of Mice and Men, The Outsiders, Marley and Me, The Green Mile... in fact, many of the movies mentioned here had me crying long before they hit the big screen. I guess I'm just a sap. sad ohwell

Funny clip of a famous study done showing the effect of unequal reward. Very interesting what we can learn when we examine animal behavior. Studies like this one have been replicated over and over with similar responses shown by a variety of different species. Gotta think us humans aren't exempt.

Women keep saying they want honesty well they've been getting it from me. But they don't appreciate it. I have been on this website for about a week and in that time I have got nowhere. Instead of being rewarded for my honesty I have been ridiculed. So I have come to the conclusion that honesty is not the best policy.

That's some flawed logic I'm thinkin'. You HAVE been rewarded, from what I've seen this past week. You've posted honestly, and received honest responses from people offering sincere suggestions. You don't seem to count those, and assume they're ridiculing you for your honesty. Perhaps re-read some responses?

If you're honestly seeking just sex, did you really expect a bunch of women to fall down with legs spread wide for ya after just a week on here and posting such statements? Have you not received ANY offers, even if you found the person too repulsive for your likes? What exactly do your expect for a reward for your honesty? Keep in mind how many women are actually in your vicinity, on this site, who happen to be willing and able to 'reward' you the way you want. huh

Honesty IS always the best policy! You can't be someone you're not! flowerforyou

If I was allowed one more thing it would be my ipad, cuz all my pics are in it!

Good news! You can take your ipad!

I just concluded that living beings aren't things, so they don't count, per se. Of course we'd rescue them first, but we get to take one 'thing', that's what pkh said, right?!? So everyone that answered with some form of a living being response gets another shot at this, no?!

Ipad it is for you! drinks
