Not that I am tall (I am not) But why are there so many guys under 6 foot here?

Try finding what the average height is for most North American males via google and that may give you an answer as to where not to find any; otherwise, try Watutsy.com in Rwanda, Burundy and Kenya; all Watutsies are over 7 feet tall...

Because when scammers(a whole lot of the people on this sight) make profiles they have to pick an average height to appeal to the majority of women they're scamming. They are too lazy to consider height and weight proportioned considerations to customize to the one they are scamming. Just a thought.

There are more shorter men than taller. That's how it seems to me anyways. Dutch ppl are supposed to be tall, but even on Dutch dating sites I find most men are shorter than 1.80m.
Maybe there's an international dating site for taller ppl? I know there's a Dutch one, not much good if you don't speak Dutch, but just to point out that they do exist.

At 6'2"....most people are short to me.

Secondly...You can't prove height on the internet so most guys who are 5'4....are 6'4"

Host a meet...then you know for sure...I have always been way taller than everyone at the 5 meets I have hit.

From what I've heard, the average height of a man is around 5'10," so yeah...tall men are a rarity.

I've never really understood why some women went for

Had that discussion at different dating sites. I myself don't understand why ppl don't get it themselves. Thing is, it's not women per say wanting taller men, it's also men wanting women shorter than they are themselves.
Most men don't feel comfy with a 'sky scraper' next to them, emasculating I spose.
For a woman it's similar: I don't feel particularly feminine, sexy nor protected / safe (primal instinct thing) when I'm taller than my partner.
I simply am not attracted to shorter man. The man can be attractive and I will notice that too, but I won't feel attracted to him.
I'm 5'9" myself, never really noticed shorter men feeling attracted to me. Works both ways.

The number of men that like tall women is limited, even tall men usually prefer women that barely reach their elbows.
The fact that most men drool over slender, short women, doesn't help to change views and definitely doesn't help taller women to feel comfortable with a shorter man.
