Topic: what do you believe? | |
---|---|
While researching various religions I have come across something interesting that is hardly addressed. Fist most sites indicate what happens to a person who believes that particular religion. what I find that is not talked about is what happens to those who do not believe. So i pose this question to everyone. According to the religion you practice what happens to the person who has lived a good life and dies but does not believe your religion? as an agnostic i believe nothing. question everything. as far as the afterlife? cannot be known by the human mind. no evidence however that we're anything but worm food. like these easy ones. |

That's a difficult question to answer from the viewpoint of my beliefs, mainly because of the inherent presuppositions in the question.
So I guess the best way to reply is to say that, neither "living a good life" nor "believeing as I do" has any more effect on what happens to you after you die than it does on what happens to you while you're living. |

So i pose this question to everyone. According to the religion you practice what happens to the person who has lived a good life and dies but does not believe your religion? What happens to a spirit when they die for the last time: This is their last life in the lower worlds. They have been incarnating here for many many lives. If they are human they return to the entity that is their higher self. The higher self is the embodiment of all of the lives they have spent here in the lower physical and astral worlds. This is the final ascension to the next adventure which could be just about anything. But for a while they are sort of on a vacation in their home world. If they are reptilian, draconian, Sirian, or otherwise non humanoid intelligent sentient life forms, (resident galaxy "aliens") they will continue to incarnate somewhere in this galaxy, retaining all memories of thier past lives until their extinction many billions of years later. I am not sure what happens to them after that. Probably have their own incarnation path to some other existence in the vast universe. This information is from the Leading Edge International Research Group at trufax.org and from Val Valarian's Matrix books. I don't know if its true, but it makes the most sense to me. |

I wish i believed but there is not one scap of evidence that god is real, i dont believe jesus was the son of god i believe he was a very educated man for his time.
As for religion it has done nothing but harm since the year dot when someone thought how can i keep these people under my thumb? If he is all seeing all forgiving then why as a lesbian would i be not allowed into heaven but condemmed to hell? i live a good life i help others and am considerate understanding to others and have never hurt anyone, but my sexuality dictates i will be judged unfit what a load of garbage!!! As a Christian(baptist) with slight JW influences..lol
My belief is that if you dont believe Jesus died for your sins (whatever name you give the religion) you will not be in his holy presence at the end of days. I think those who do not believe do not have everlasting life and once they die they just die and remain soil for the ground. Its sort of like getting into an IVY league school. Few will make it,, even those who did 'good' through school. There has to be that exceptional factor that comes with accepting Jesus as savior. |

If Jesus did save mankind, (I'm not saying that he did nor did not.) .. but if he did, then now, if you don't acknowledge that and give him credit for it, it's eternal death or the fires and pits of hell for you no matter how good you have been in your life. That is extortion in this reality. ("I am your God and savior, Worship me as your God or die.) That sounds like those aliens on Star Trec. I don't think I like that. |

We believe unbelievers and who knows of the believers will be brought before the final judgement in Rev. 19. thier they will be judged by thier works and either have eternal life or be done away and the minds of all those who inherit eternal life thier minds will be wiped clean of all knowledge of them as if they never existed. But they do not spend eternity being tortued in hell. This is the 2nd death..Shalom...Miles I kinda like that one, your good on earth, and youll be treated good after death. If your a hells angel, a murderer, rapeist, or an evil doer, you can live by that and not fear punnishment after death, just cease to be. i agree! |

They get devoured by a facet of God upon their death and entrance into the "light" From God the awareness came when we were conceived, and to God it goes when a non-believer dies. |

And you are right. I don't understand how any adult still believes in fairy tales. Such obvious fairy tales. |

Here's a question. As a huge H. P. Lovecraft fan i probably take some things too seriously and while I don't believe it I want to know if anybody else here has put some thought to The Necronomicon? The one that is regularly distributed in Barnes and Noble with the story of having been handed over by a monk to some rare books dealer is of course a fake but there has been rumor of a new document that is beginning to go into circulation that actually is written by Abdul Alhazred (the Mad Arab) called Al Azif which does outline his persuit of an arabian princess through ungodly ancient times where things he called, "Old Ones," warred with eachother in the sky and did share many of the names used in H. P. Lovecrafts stories, namely Cthulu.
Personally I believe that, more likely that not, it's not a true story but probably the greatest epic ever written, but I do believe that the world is WAY WAY WAY.... older than any religion or scientific study has thought of considering. I have no evidence of it but I believe it. And I also believe that it may be likely that something far more unnerving and disturbing than a god could be waiting for us after death |

It is not meant to be offensive, It makes perfect sense. The reality is because we are mortal it is INEVITABLE that we die. We arent killed because we dont believe. Quite the opposite,,, our fate of death can be surpassed IF we believe. And if we dont, as I have said a million times, I dont see why it would matter. |

My post wasn't insulting, I was just stating that those that don't believe won't understand, it's a fact. I don't believe what you guys believe and I don't understand it. That's the way it works. If you took my post as insulting then that's your problem. Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude |
