Judy knows me on a personal level. I simply prefer to be grounded in reality as opposed to living in a fantasy world with my head in the clouds. At the end of the day, romanticism doesn't pay the bills. I love Keith. He knows that .. I'm totally tongue-in-cheek here .. WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL kinda

That is very true that romance doesn't pay the bills. The other side of that coin is...cold and calculated pragmatizm ain't gonna give you the bliss of love. For me...the trick is to find the happy medium between accepting reality and putting hope into the equation.

It's not their issue if you don't like the way they live their life, just as it isn't your issue if I wouldn't want to live my life the way you do. |

Cynicism is a state of mind culled from plenty of experience, leading one to see the true nature of things. If seeing the realistic side of things makes it "negative", then so be it. At least one remains true to oneself instead of allowing fantasy to absorb them. I believe in cynicism, and now consider it a sort of hobby. In a way, I suppose I have a sort of admiration for people who can get stepped on, time after time, and maintain some sort of positivity. I think there's something to be said for someone who has so much control of their own thought processes that they can completely ignore reality. But that ain't me.... |

Oh I couldn't agree with you more Lisa. I LOVE Keith. He has my respect and my laughter .. cuz he makes me laugh a LOT. I just can't live life in Doomsville. I would go slit my wrists ..
And he knows ME well enough to know I say it all in jest .. just as he posts so often the same. I think a whole lot of us post the same way when it comes to standing up for what we believe in. For sure. |
