Fade....in your example of the car breaking down..... A cynic doesn't necessarily expect it, but he does acknowledge the possibility. That doesn't mean that the cynic ' knows ' or ' feels ' that it's gonna happen. No but in the skeptical perspective, awaits it. No. The negative person ' awaits ' it. As in..." EDIT Forget it. It's not even worth it. but Keith .. it IS worth it .. I LIKE reading your posts. Don't get your briefs in a bunch just cuz your attitude in life is questioned. I truly believe it takes ALL of us to make the world go round. If you weren't cynical, this thread might not have had it's inspiration, and heck, the discussions on here are better than "good morning" "good night" "I'm bored" "I cant get a date" threads .. If you weren't cynical the opportunists might not look as definitive as they are either .. just sayin

I wasn't trying to insult or offend you. As I said, I don't even know you. So, please don't take anything I said as an insult.. they were just observations. Ones that could be totally wrong, as I don't know you away from here. Discussions like this can be interesting, if you don't let them get out of hand. Anyway, if everyone had the same attitude about everything, life would be pretty boring.

Isn't THAT the truth. Honestly Keith's posts .. altho tooo much of a dose of reality for me most of the time .. ....are funny as hell!!! He's got a great sense of humor and I can tell you that from havin him hang around here for 3 days .. LOL You rock Keith ..

I KNOW Keith in person. My point was to do exactly what I said in the OP .. ask them "HOW'S THAT WORKIN FOR YA?" to understand the mindset a bit better. What I do see is the common frustration of people with different views truly 'getting' one another. sigh

And honestly it wasn't Keith who WAS my inspiration for the thread. It was a down and out view of something beautiful in the world that should be a blessing and amazing inspiration yet to another is seen only as a pain in the butt. LOL I was just like .. WOW. How could you miss the beauty? ha ha
