Cynicism is a state of mind culled from plenty of experience, leading one to see the true nature of things. If seeing the realistic side of things makes it "negative", then so be it. At least one remains true to oneself instead of allowing fantasy to absorb them. What's it like being so cranky? What's it like being so passive about everything on earth?

Judy knows me on a personal level. I simply prefer to be grounded in reality as opposed to living in a fantasy world with my head in the clouds. At the end of the day, romanticism doesn't pay the bills.
