That is very true that romance doesn't pay the bills. The other side of that coin is...cold and calculated pragmatizm ain't gonna give you the bliss of love. For me...the trick is to find the happy medium between accepting reality and putting hope into the equation. Tsk, tsk, Krupa! I thought you knew me better than that by now. When have I ever stated that I was looking for the "bliss of love"?

keith is my favourite type of person, and is one of my best online/real life friends. for however often i disagree with him, and it's often, he always says exactly what is on his mind, and never fails to take a stand for what he believes in, even if he's in the minority and, for that, he has my admiration and my respect. I agree. The only caveat is to not let what you believe in color your perception of what others think. No one has a monopoly on truth and right. We need to have room and respect for dissenting views. also, exhibiting even a little bit of tact can go a long way

Well, I would only imagine that this statement would be a bone of contention that many others would disagree with you on....at the very least, they'd most likely have other, more colorful descriptions to use, most of which would be unacceptable to the TOU of this site....but I digress.
