Sooooooooooo I was just wondering ... Since cynicism is soooooo depressing a negative mindset and all ... and I don't get it .. (Cuz, I LOVE HAPPY ) and am about as far from being cynical as you could find - HOW'S THAT WORKIN FOR YA? runs to other end of forums before the cynics see the thread

Cynicism is a state of mind culled from plenty of experience, leading one to see the true nature of things. If seeing the realistic side of things makes it "negative", then so be it. At least one remains true to oneself instead of allowing fantasy to absorb them.
