Why do people think that their decision to send an e-mail somehow obligates the other person to respond?

It doesn't.

that garbage comes from the textification of our written words. it takes me forever to send a text message because i refuse to shorten every word.
Me too! And I even use punctuation in my texts.

I am sorry this happened to you. You seem like a kind, sincere person and you don't deserve to have people use you for their own amusement.

I hope you find a new job soon and end up working with a better class of people.

And hold on to B!

My problem was never with the guys so much as myself. After devoting myself to raising a child, I really didn't have much time or energy left over to cater to a man.

I’m not sure that I ever implied that a healthy diet and plenty of exercise did work for everyone? I also was not directing my comment towards you personally but you had mentioned yogurt is all. Yogurt is a food item that I have noticed being consumed very often by folks attempting to lose weight because they associate it with "healthy eating" It can be and it can not be. That was my point. Sorry if it was misunderstood.
no- not misunderstood. I wasn't arguing with you. It was just a comment in general to some of the other people on here who said pretty much, put down the fork and get off the couch; not those words exactly but that meaning.

And it would be so wonderful for many of us if that was all it took; when my life allows it, I will exercise for 2-4 hours a day. And I prefer healthy foods (yes, quantity is a problem.)

I just hate the stereotype of the fat girl sitting on the couch with a bag of doughnuts. We are not all like that. And Krimsa, I know you didn't imply that we were. This is just a general comment.

Fair enough but you are accusing me yet again of saying things I never did. If anything I have offered nothing but comments concerning health and nutrition. Those are my main concerns here. It’s not about whether or not you will fit into a bathing suit by next summer okay? In fact, I was NEVER speaking directly to you. You seem to feel I am. If you have a problem with certain members that have addressed you in that manner or insulted you, then quote them directly and let them know that. Don't take out your frustrations on the folks that are only trying to help.
I think I said about three times that it was just a general comment and not directed at you. The only reason I quoted you was to say that you were not being misunderstood.

Non-smoker, one that’s not afraid to work (I don’t plan on being a sugar daddy) enjoyable to talk to and I don’t care how big her boobs are
what about how low they hang?

I agree Chaz. Very often, when I have spent a significant amount of time with overweight folks, they sometimes have no understanding of nutrition and caloric intake. Not always of course, but in my personal experience I am referencing now. So when they think they are not eating very much, it might be true. Its WHAT they are eating that might be causing the problem.

Body by McDonalds,B-king and chocalate.I'm genectically inclined to eat crap.
I hate junk food. I like fish and salad, and I love fruit. I suppose you can eat too much fruit and yogurt, though.

Yogurt is a tricky one. You really want to eat the non fat. You are still getting the good aspects of it without the fat. The fat inclusive ones taste creamier and better of course but a lot of non-fat brands are just as good and you adjust. Same with using non-fat milk. It just takes a little time to get used to it. Then the whole milk or even 1% begins to taste like drinking cream. Much too rich. A lot of dairy is like that. Its good BUT in moderation. And then you get into the simple math aspect of it. Your caloric intake can not exceed your requirements. That’s the easy part though. Also the more exercise you do, the less hungry you will feel over time. It happens quicker than you think. It’s due to the hike in metabolism that WILL happen. Make sure everything else is going okay for you as far as your health of course.
I use the non-fat light yogurt.

I don't drink milk; I use light soymilk.
I have walked several marathons, including an ultramarathon - 52 miles over 3 days.

I would think nothing of walking 14 miles after work; or 22 miles on a Saturday morning.

I have an injury which prevents me from doing that now.

But I never lost any weight when I did do it. And I havent' gained any since I stopped.

Those formulas really don't work for everybody.

someone who sends you a form e-mail without even reading your profile is not deserving of your time. You owe him nothing, not even the courtesy of a reply.

He is not "putting himself out there", he is trolling and hoping to catch something - anything- in his net.

No thanks.

If no one likes it, then why do they do it?
because then they can whine about no one liking them and they can blame their problems on someone else.

A lot of people will not relocate due to jobs and family...I can get that...I would not want to leave my kids and grandbabies...just me.
I understand the issue with kids!!

But there is a lot of people on the site who has no kids but allow jobs to stand in their way. If there was a chance of real happiness why let a job get in the way of it!! JMO
because some of us like to live in houses and eat food.

Well, the idea would be to find a new job in the place you'd be moving to.
It can take 6 months to a year to find a job. I wouldn't quit a good job to go chasing after romance.

Oh, I would never move before finding a job. But, finding a new job would not stop me from moving somewhere.
I agree with that. I have moved for my job, in fact. But I wouldn't move for a man.

I moved for my job as well. I'm not unhappy where I am, but where I live is nothing special.
The place I live isn't so special either, but neither are most guys I have known.

They are actualy losing value!

5 years ago, you could have bought a gallon of gas! drinker

True.frown

I'd save them as a curiousity, & an emergency stash. You never see them any more, try putting a few on E bay & see if anyone bites. They would interest people who collect Bicentenniel stuff as well as bills.
That's what she did last time and she forgot about them.
