And I responded; my statement meaning that drunk drivers also suck up millions of dollars in medical costs.

Drunk drivers that have accidents kill innocent people destroying lives in the process. and that is okay...................how?????

Our lustrious governor just raised the cigarette tax..................Yet didn't raise the liquor tax. WTF, how many times have you heard of smokers killing in driving related accidents?????

I don't recall saying that was okay. I neither smoke nor drink; I do not defend drinking or drunk driving.

All I am saying is that smokers have an impact on others, too. They are not innocent; secondhand smoke KILLS people.

And I agree with you. They do. Both vices are a horrible waste of human lives and resources. Sad.

I've always thought it was stupid to walk into a bar and ask for a soda or a glass of milk...it's cheaper if you buy a gallon or 2 liter's? Why would you pay 2.00 USD for a glass?
for the chance of spending time with other people, maybe? I have been in situations where everyone at work - partners, managers, etc. - were meeting for happy hour - everyone is expected to attend - I don't drink, so I would order a soda.

Didn't Jimmy Carter once get attacked by a rabbit?

Or was that during my crack smoking years?

Been on my own since the 90s.

Not sure why women think they need men to exist.

They don't.

I play with the little green army men and douse them in gasoline and yell at the top of my lungs "What're ya gonna do now!!!".
You must be so much fun to hang out with. Wish we lived closer together.

speak really sternly to them.

I have wasp nests in every corner of every entryway into my house. I warn my guests about them but they never bother anyone. I don't have the heart to kill them after they spent all that time building those nests.

Not shallow here. I judge by the person's personality and character individually. I have found that "conventional" beauty usually creates ugly insides for most who "know" they have it. There are a few who do not get this way but for the most part socially accepted beauty makes for ugly on the inside. My personal experience, of course.
I so agree with you!

Just out of curiousity - what type of woman are you nice guys pursuing? Are you going for the "nice girls" or the "hot babes"? If you seek out women who are kind, intelligent, genuine and empathetic, you are not going to get that reaction. If you seek out women who are hot, sexy, skinny and young, you may get the brush off for any number of reasons.

I say this because I have never brushed off a guy because he was too nice; but then, they rarely approach me. Hmmm...

A bunch of them, but I got bored right away. I am just not terribly interested in searching and e-mailing strangers or sitting there twiddling my thumbs waiting for someone to e-mail me. Here, I can talk to all kinds of people in the forums and by the time we e-mail, I feel like I know them a bit. It's so much more natural, especially when you are not terribly motivated to date. It's nice to have friends to a talk to.

It just cracks me up that guys think if they don't do well with women that it has to be because they are too nice.

Yeah, that's it. It's not your lack of wit, or your boring conversation; it's not your weird hobbies or your lack of style; nope, it HAS to be your excess niceness.

How self-serving can you get? Take responsibility for yourselves, guys.
