Topic: The BBW label | |

Why can't women just say they are fat instead of coming up with some label to hide behind.I'm fat and when you see me its obvious there is junk in the trunk so why do people fear a mere three letter word?

I do not refer to myself as a BBW. I tell it like it is. Okay, so I was never a BBW like most refer to themselves, but I'm a tubbo chubbo and I don't mince or glamorize.

I'm very insecure. That's why I'd rather someone know right up front that Cindy Crawford, I ain't!!!
NOT THAT anyone is perfect, at least not for long, and not even the "perfect" ones really are!!! |

I don't use BBW because I don't feel myself in that catagory. From what I've seen, I would have to be a whole lot fatter! Hehe. But yeah, I don't hide it. I have pics up in my corsets and I overflow. I want to lose some of the weight, but not all of it. I think women look better with more curves and I keep feeling the need to feed women that society holds up as ideals. And as I love corsets, I also think they look best on women who are a bit heavier and look kinda silly on women who are underweight. I totally hate to see walking, talking skeletons. (okay, if they were real skeletons, it would be totally cool) But not people who are just skin stretched over bone running around thinking that is hot.

I'm fat but working on it...I tell people from the git go that I have extra baggage so it is their choice if they want to continue to talk to me or not...

Why have any labels? I am not defined by size or hair color etc. Tolerance is the key to me, acceptance and love. I have seen many Profiles by men and women however who have cruel things to say about larger persons. How sad is that? Superficial and narrow minded indeed!I am in between in size and love all my lumps and societal imperfections. Hope everyone else can love their own too.
