ANNUAL APOLOGY . . . . Over the past few months I have forwarded some inappropriate pictures and jokes to friends who I thought shared the same sense of humour. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case and I seem to have upset quite a few people who have accused me of being sexist and shallow. If you were one of these people, please accept my sincerest apologies. Looking to 2013 onward, I will only post or send e-mail with a cultural or educational content such as old monuments, nature and other interesting topics. Below is a picture of the Pont Neuf Bridge in Paris. It is the oldest bridge in Paris and took 26 years to build. It was completed in 1604... OH ****!!!! WHERE DID SHE COME FROM???? |

I have friends and relatives that have had bad experiences and have decided to divide world along racial lines.
It is painful to watch. |

Ah my old friends Ainjel and Mig, thank you! Sadly, Work keeps me away from the boards, but I hope to devote more time writing, reading, and responding.

a real relationship?
there are far and few we remain, we maintain together we are alone if there's a spark we want to capture we want to contain and save for later we want control we want security we want guarantee what happens to love? not what i imagined our plan together it's not a garden it's a strip of concrete to throw on top of life to build a future which becomes a tomb something to be proud of let's write the eulogy in memory of love and make it perfect we'll take our time but finish later we're all too busy this is love on planet earth |

I really like this one a lot Athena. I like the way you can stand up for yourself, and the way you effectively communicate your message. People that try to do their best in life don't deserve attacks.

What she said. I really appreciated this poem. I think most of us relate to it well! |

from distant origins
each has a path from afar paths come together destined to intersect perchance a meeting place a collision a surprise an exchange of energy tantalizing synergy focused to a point the creation of worlds which could not exist before but paths that intersect are doomed to separate a keen sense of rending can inexorably demonstrate growing distance makes clear the widening miles and diverging goals that take us away again loneliness is the price we pay, in full, for precious knowledge |
