Its sad sometimes, knowing who u are where u come frm..its also a blessing living in the willingnes of God..i always wonder how the world looks like, wishing i could be at every part of this earth living with all kinds of people..feel the pain of the poor and living in the luxurynes of the riches.sometimes i say to myself why was i born into a family that have much in life ,but i always admire with love and care how much my family is..its of my great happiness to part of this wonderful family,we live with truth and sincerity..sometimes i see the world as cruel, how could a part of the world have the wisdom to overcome other parts of the world..how did the world divide into two different but one human beings..the whites and the blacks..for as far as i know there has been the difference of body skin colour racism..the whites fights the blacks..the white always believe humans in the form of black skin are not part of God's creation of mankind but as of an animal..the whites got wisdom to empower themselves as much to rule the world, forgetin that it was God who controls the minds of all mankind..many were born and thought the ways to live with power to control the world,so as many were born to understand the world and make both white and black as equals..generations have come and gone many have lived and died through suffering..we as blacks have love for the whites for their wisdom ,knowledge and power.its like we live under them, but of all the white has become was of the land of the blacks..the black lands had all the riches but witout wisdom the whites took possession..now in this age world there are still many whites who see blacks as evil forgetting that they have black hair on their body ..it was my first day here at mingle2 ,when i came acros a white ladys profile..i watchd through and messaged her about my intention towards her and she replied with two words"its ok"i then asked her of her thoughts of afrika and to my amazement she said "they are very bad people and i will never go to afrika".a person with this perception what do u make of her..thank u all for reading am thomas

Welcome to the writers forum, Thomas.
For your first post you have written about a controversial subject for many minds. I personally am not biased toward people of any color or nationality, as God created all of His children to love them, and for us to love Him and each other. Unfortunately, there are people on this earth that don't love God, or even believe in Him, and I can't even imagine how much that hurts His heart. So, if there are people that don't care for us, at least we can know just an inkling about what being rejected feels like. As for the racism you discuss between the blacks and whites, well, it's sad but true. Different cultural beliefs do divide people, nations, even families. But why be upset about something we can't change? If we meet people that are biased against us for any reason, then we know to avoid them, rather than have hurt feelings and perhaps unpleasant words spoken about it. We should live and let live, that is my belief. And I relate how I feel about, or interact with people of any color, based on how they treat me. But we are all different, so to each his own... |

Nice 'essay.' For real.
My advice....take a deep breath...and blow out all that anger. Lol. And about what that lady said to you: take it with a grain of salt, and move onto something better. Not everyone out there is like that. Good luck. |

Well said Simplicity !!...Racism stems from many things, but one of the most common is unfamiliarity...It sounds like this woman has formed negative opinions about Africa and her people based on something other than first hand knowledge....Tnanithe, welcome to Mingle...I wish you luck, love, and happiness! |

I have friends and relatives that have had bad experiences and have decided to divide world along racial lines.
It is painful to watch. |
