What is happening is the theft of intellectual property.
Illegal copies of software defraud the creators of being paid for their work.

How do you propose to pay the people who innovate and create new applications and software if you can't sell it?

How do musicians make money if revenues are not collected for their music?

Would you go to a farmer take the crops off his land and say "the earth belongs to no man, these vegetables, this wheat, these cattle, are here for me to take" ?

You get paid for your work don't you?

The average time spent on Death Row after conviction is around 8-10 yrs.

Why?
Because our 'barbaric' system of justice makes sure all avenues of appeal have been exhausted.

Not some village Mullah or Iman, but men and women that have spent most of their adult lives studying and applying the law.
They follow a system ( albeit not perfect) that we as a nation have agreed upon, and have elected officials to administer it. (No not every single person with in the legal system is elected)

If we don't like it we can change it.


Not so for some of our more enlightened brethren in lesser developed countries.
