Lindsay Lohan's week is off to a rough start.

Following a weekend full of reports -- and her own admission -- that she had failed court-mandated drug tests, a California judge has issued a warrant for her arrest, TMZ reports.

Superior Court Judge Elden Fox issued the bench warrant in Beverly Hills, but Lohan will remain free pending a Friday court hearing, according to officials from Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The bench warrant is on hold until Friday at 8:30 AM, when Lindsay is ordered to appear in court.

Lohan, 24, could be sentenced to 30 days behind bars for each of the two failed tests.

“I predict she will get at least 30-45 days for the violations,” Santa Monica-based criminal defense attorney Steve Cron told FOX411.com. “Judge Fox is going to want to ensure Lindsay is taking the court system seriously and right now, she just doesn’t seem to get it.”

Lohan tested positive for cocaine and amphetamines, TMZ reports.

Lohan spent two weeks in jail this year after violating probation stemming from convictions involving her 2007 arrests for drug use and driving under the influence. She spent another 23 days undergoing rehabilitation at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

Fox had threatened her with 30 days in jail for each probation violation. Fox must now decide whether to send her back to jail or back into treatment.

Lohan posted a series of Twitter messages last Friday acknowledging her drug problem.

"Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test," she tweeted.

She also said, "substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it."

Lohan often posts updates with the account that's verified by Twitter as belonging to the actress.

This chick I think is just trying to piss the judge off. Hopefully the judge give's her the maximum for both violations with NO early release.

..this young lady seems to be troubled,obviously in need of some help and a real friend in her life..hope she finds it before it kills her..such a shame

The best thing that could happen to her is get put in jail for a year and rehab for a year after that.

I am not just saying that because i'm heartless and wanna see her behind bars but because I am afraid if something like that isn't done that we will read a headline someday soon that reads "Lindsay Lohan found dead"

Apparently nothing........it's an endless cycle for most celebrities. That's the problem with those shows, they take something and run it into the ground.

in paris's defense, the coke wasn't in her purse, it was in the car she was in... had it been in her purse, it could have been worse for her. she plead guilty as a plea bargin to keep it out of court, which none of them wanted.... she paid her fine, so the city is happy...

It was in her purse! It fell out of it when she went to get her lip balm right in front of a cop!

LAS VEGAS – Just a few years ago, Paris Hilton claimed her lawless days were behind her after she served 23 days in jail for violating probation.

These days, however, it's unclear exactly what the celebrity socialite learned from her time behind bars.

Hilton, whose partying brought her worldwide notoriety, acknowledged in a court appearance Monday that she stashed cocaine in her purse and lied to police during her arrest last month at a Las Vegas resort.

Under the terms of a plea deal, the 29-year-old Hilton pleaded guilty to drug possession and obstructing an officer, both misdemeanors. She must serve a year of probation, complete a drug program, pay a $2,000 fine and serve 200 hours of community service.

If she violates her probation, she could get a year in jail.

"Treat this very seriously," Justice of the Peace Joe M. Bonaventure cautioned Hilton. "The Clark County Detention Center is not the Waldorf-Astoria."

Yea, they were in the car and it fell out in front of the cop.

She tried telling the cops that the purse wasn't her's, but it had several things in it with her name on it and had a picture of it on one of her social networking pages.
