Northern Michigan is beautiful, and our town is right on Lake Michigan. Many folks have summer homes here, they start showing up in June. The population really shoots up during Cherry Festival in the first week in July and stays up til Labor Day when everybody goes home. Lots of week-end tourists too. In the fall we have lots of 'leaf peepers' checking out the fall color, winter brings snowmobilers and skiers. Oh lets not forget the retired folks too who head for warmer climes around Nov. and return in the spring.

Some people complain about the:
Leaf Licking
Cone Sucking
Trunk slamming
Fudgies.

But its cool, I came here on vacation and to visit my brother who had moved here. I moved here a yr later.

If an individual has psych issues and is aware and admits to having them, they can be quite exciting sexually.

If they have issues and are in denial, they can be to repressed and not so much fun.

She has other goals, and it ain't you.

I suspect her family and she have made some sacrifices for her to come to study and live in this country, bear this in mind.

Have the two of you discussed what her plans are when she is finished with school? Does she plan on remaining here in the U.S?

Also consider that she needs friends, and not a more serious relationship at this time in her life.

If you can't accept a 'friends only' relationship, then move on.
