Topic: My Peacock Moment! | |
---|---|
We updated our web site. As it says in my profile I do Aquarium work. Well follow this link and you will see the scale of what I do! This tank is being built for the Sketchers World Head Quarters. That is me next to our 1500lb (currently) baby. It is made of 1" thick acrylic. Expected date of completion for delivery is three weeks. The tank is ten feet long, five foot high, and three feet at its widest point. I think I got room to crow a little!
http://www.imageaquatics.com/Clients/001.html Yes that is me! I designed this monster. I also am responsible for plumbing it and making it support life. This is what we intend to put in it... Pacific Sea Nettles. Yep, I am a LOT more than just some Tank Scrubber! This currently is the only Bow Faced Kriesel made and also the largest privately owned one as far as we know! Texans are not the only ones to think BIG! |

Go ahead, Andy. You deserve to display your feathers. |

Probably a lot more water than a water bed.
Large amounts of water in containers make me nervous, because water always finds a way out. |

cool...but why so small ?? j/k They were vehement they didn't want me to put Moby Dick in it. They were afraid of every wannabe Captain Ahab trying to get him! Anyone want a slightly used Sperm Whale? He is house broken but STINKS like dead fish! |

Two questions....
How many pairs o shoes did they have to sell to pay for that thing? Why sea Herpes? I woulda sprung for sea monkeys or a rock lobster so I could a had theme music for it. |

We may be doing a lobster tank for them really. Right now getting the beast in place is priority right now. The site for the second tank is still being worked on.
Also they had to sell LOTS AND LOTS of shoes as far as I can tell. And Sea Herpes is better and easier to take care of than SPACE HERPES! |
