I am Catholic. We have never been taught of this "rapture" you speak of. I cannot find mention of "the rapture" in the Bible. We believe in the testimony of Revelations. In the end, Jesus and Satan will do "worldly battle" and satan, the loser, will be cast into the bowels of Hell once and for all. Only then, will there be the Judgement of Souls. Of those survivors, the Rightous, believers in Jesus Christ as The Way, Truth and Light, will ascend into heaven, body and soul. The wicked will be cast into the bowels of Hell with Satan.
Then there will be a "new Jerusalem". The earth made new. A second chance and the rightous shall "inherit the earth".
The beginning. Amen and amen.

I think God especially hears us sinners prayers! I'm sure the rightous's prayers are heard as well, but, it is we, the sinners, who need to know God listens. As others have said, sometimes it's not the answer we are looking for, but, He does listen.

nope. slept from 4pm til 1am, so, I have had a few shots of raspberry vodka so far. I am on a weird schedule because my parents are sick and the family takes turns taking care of them and when I get to come home, I sleep first and then get up and play.

actually, Wonderbread, I do feel very blessed and I give thanks for my blessings, that in the 24/7 pain that I am in, I can help take care of my ill father, along with my mother, sister and cousin, and serve Jury duty as requested by the county. I have what I need. I try to help others since I have managed to hang onto my 1995 car(and can offer rides to the grocery store and Drs appointments to others in my building) and am doing the best that I feel I can in this world. I do not feel that an attack on me is warranted. I have not complained at all about my personal situation, of which you know nothing. I can tell you that at the end of the month, I get to enjoy peanut butter on toast for meals, because my mother found me a toaster at at yard sale. Yes, I am blessed.
