I am not afraid of my God. He is a God of love. He was wild in the old testament, because he was dealing with cave men. I believe that Jesus of the New Testament is God's valium. Mormons are not Christians. Joseph Smith was sad and wanted to be someone. Although his father had a farm, Joseph Smith sat under a tree and "meditated" on how he could make the world a better place. He says an Angel of The Lord appeared to him and showed him where to dig for a book that was placed in the ground when Jesus came to New York state!! The Angel Maroni!! It just does not ring true. I could do that today and write a book of rules to create a "new" church. Joseph Smith wrote the Book of Mormon and it is just pure nonsensical fiction. I know what I am saying. I allowed these Mormon missionaries in my home for more that six months. What they told us, did not make sense. It's a made up religion that has nothing to do with Jesus Christ, except that Joseph Smith says Jesus buried this Book when he "visited" the united states, in particular, NY. It's rubbish. Mormons are not Christians. The Catholic church warns against the "false prophets" of this church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!! Rubbish!! Thank God, He keeps me straight!

Three (3) persons in one God. God The Father-creator, God, The Son-God lowered himself to live among us as human man, born in the horrible way of the vaginal canal as the rest of us-so that He could die for us to repent our original sin so that we could decide to accept His redemption freeing all those who died before Him (ex: Abraham, Malchesedec, Moses and all the prophets and saints that died before him and lived in neither heaven nor hell) to ascend to heaven. As God/human/man, he could show His weakness and wonder if The Father had forgotten His sacrifice, just as we jump to conclusions about intentions of others in our lives. Last, but not least, God The Holy Spirit, who filled man with knowledge and the right of the Apostles of Jesus Christ to forgive (or not) the sins confessed to them. The Holy Spirit who can and does give us the peace that passes all understanding= it is. The faithful know this. It is what helps us survive when really horrible things in life happen to us. God remains with us, through the peace of the Holy Spirit to help us to heal and move on with our lives for the sake of those who need us.
I am sick of nay sayers. This is faith. this is truth. Believe it or not. I for one believe. Smirk and challenge all that you want.

eskimo_nell - when we die, our souls go to heaven where we will see God, Jesus, Angels and Saints, know the answers to all questions we have ever wondered and live happily until the final judgement when our body and souls will be reunited forever. That is my basic understanding.

I was taught that Angels always were and always will be. They are finite and no one who lives on earth will become an Angel. Why God, the father, is the "Chief" of all Angels and how he got to be the Highest is what I wonder. So, God did not create Satan, a fallen Angel. What do you think about this?
