The JSH that I joined was nothing like it is now. Most of the "old crowd" seems to be gone. I am headed in that direction myself. All that's left is a bunch of late teens-mid 30s people and there is just no sophistication left in the site. I think it started when we blended with the "mingle" site. I still read the forums, but, the topics are so juvenile it makes me sick! As far as I'm concerned "another one bites the dust". This will be deleted, but, i just don't give a rats anymore.

Haven't been to Mardi Gras in 27 yrs. I'd love to go again. Was married then and we stayed with friends. I got a Bronze dubloon from a guy on a float and tons and tons of beads. We ate at Brennans and a fancy French Restaurant(?) and a Barbeque Shrimp Restaurant and went out late for coffee and beniets (sp?). We hit all the parade's and of course the French Quarter. Probably won't get back there again, so, have fun for me!! Great memories!!
