If we went on a first date, are we doing coffee, tacos, or mini golf?
Honestly, I’m easy. As long as you don’t make me talk about my 5-year plan on day one, we’re good. |

Honestly, it can be anything as long as boundaries are being kept while at it

Honestly, coffee on the very first meet and greet....the fact finding mission, as I call it ...if that goes well , a first date can be planned ....and the possibilities are endless... Mine would be a wine tasting at the nearest vineyard.....

Coffee in a local town café during the day time is the best option in my opinion on meeting for the first time, where everyone feels safe and if it does not work out you need only to be there long enough to finish your drink.

An actual first date if arranged by me , would be dinner cooked by me and a bottle of wine at my humble abode....she brings or is the dessert, her choice...

If we went on a first date, are we doing coffee, tacos, or mini golf? although I don't drink coffee.. I will do the occasional French Vanilla so I'd do a donut shop type meet'n greet.. (Tim's of course) if things went well, maybe mini-putt 2nd time..

If we went on a first date, are we doing coffee, tacos, or mini golf?.. On a first date I do not think there is any way to eat tacos and maintain that ladylike aura. And miniature golf is a competitive game..if you beat him he will not take it kindly. Coffee? Really? You cheapo ;-) |

Do they still have mini-golf courses around the country? I didn't think people knew what that was anymore.

Well, I say, Thank God for the rebirth of the coffee shops in South Carolina. I know they have been around for a while now. But, I'm 71 and I can remember when you heard about coffee shops if you like reading a Bob Dylan or an Allen Ginsburg biography. You knew at one time they existed, but they weren't around here, back then. I met most of my women either in bars, schools, or hook up or by mutual friends. Coffee is good. You can meet for coffee and it doesn't have to last that long if there is no chemistry. I used to think the best dates were dinner and a movie. When I was a teenager, dinner meant a trip to Mickey D's or Hardees and then on to the movie. The problem with that is, you can get a little talking done at dinner, but you are also eating and it ain't polite to talk with food in you mouth. Momma taught me that. Movies, no talking gets done at all. Coffee can last as long as you want it too and if there is chemistry, you can go someplace else, drinks and or movie or vice versa. It gives both parties an easy out if they want one. So, for me, first dates; coffee then maybe drinks then we'll just see what happens ;)
