It has been known for women to not give their real age, so you could date someone much older than you think they are, could be awkward on that first date when they go concession. sad2

Just when the story was gaining interest, she finds the person of her dreams or has given up her search for love.

I think you are supposed to like them back, by giving them a nudge, but I'm not sure. Good luck in your search.

I'm new here is this right to meet a stranger from this site.... :pensive:

Meet only after you have exchanged a few emails, and when you feel comfortable in meeting them. Always meet for the first time in a public place and in the day time, a café in town is a good venue for that meet and greet, aim to keep it short over coffee so you don't end up stuck with someone you decide is not for you. Good luck in your search.

There are many reasons why marriages fail, treating a spouse as if you owned them is probably one of the reasons, sadly some people do become very controlling in marriage and it never ends well in my opinion.

Romantically. We would need to be attracted to each other, as well as having fun. Attractiveness is not always measured by beauty in my opinion.

Mmmmm I have been a bit busy of late and not had much free time (sadly :pensive:)...

So today I noticed / discovered the new menu option Realms in the menubar at the top of the page...

When I click it, I just see a blank page with the message 'Something went wrong'...

So what is Realms?... Maybe it's another word blogs/vlogs?

I'm curious to know :joy:

Maybe try it again. I have just tried 'Realms' and clicked on Browse by country, I selected GB, but when I click on a profile I discover no access, I would need to upgrade from my existing Free Membership. So I have not investigated further because it seems it is restricted to full paid members only.

Now Spring is here, I usually have a walk to the seafront then along the Cliff tops in the afternoon depending on the weather here in the UK. Sometimes the Paragliders are there catching the wind and jumping off the Cliff tops to fly above the sea and along the cliffs, brave souls. I have a pot of tea and a cake in a café in the local historic house which is open to the public. Usually something going on there, interesting exhibitions to see, or singers to brass bands to listen to, and often shows in the grounds of the house, classic cars, car club meets, dog shows, only during the summer months. I can have a sit and read my book in the sunshine when the weather is good before walking home. Just a quiet Sunday out enjoying the fresh air.

That would be the end of it for me, how long does it take to call or send a text. Maybe it was cold feet, playing games or they just forgot our date, it would no longer work for me, better to finish and avoid any further disappointment. Thanks everyone for your replies.

You have had a meet and greet and it seemed to go well. Then they fail to turn up on that all important first date, you waited longer than you should because you were unable to contact them, and they failed to contact you. Then a day or so later they contact you with excuses and apologies. Do you arrange another date or end it there and then.
