I think there are more people looking for someone at this time of year because they don't want to be alone during the holidays. There may be some that go to visit family and want to bring someone so they are not the only single person.

I think it's because, as you've said, you don't go out. On line dating is not a great way to meet people. If you want to meet someone, you have to go outside and talk to people.
