In what is the most tangible victory thus far for Colin Kaepernick and his legal team, the arbitrator overseeing his collusion case has denied the NFL’s dismissal attempt.
The decision comes in the wake of a summary judgement hearing in which the NFL argued Kaepernick’s attorneys did not have the evidence to meet an appropriate standard proving a collusive effort to keep the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback out of the league. Both sides filed arguments that included giving arbitrator Stephen Burbank the evidence each had produced in discovery. Those arguments led Burbank to determine the case should move forward, a clear loss for the NFL. Burbank’s decision suggests there is enough merit in the arguments and evidence produced by Kaepernick’s legal team to warrant a trial on the facts of the case. There are a lot of unanswered questions about the path of the collusion grievance. But the most important issues at hand have been resolved: Kaepernick’s case moves forward despite the NFL’s attempt to quash it; a trial of the facts will take place; and the arbitrator who made the judgement on both of those developments has given Kaepernick’s legal team an adrenalin shot of optimism in a long uphill battle. http://www.yahoo.com/sports/colin-kaepernick-wins-summary-judgment-case-vs-nfl-keeping-grievance-case-alive-203456241.html |

The NFL wouldn't be going through this if kaep was white. Do you deny it? A white man can be fired when his work performance isn't up to standard but blacks play the race card.

Colin prefers being on his knees.

We will know when it happens. Kaepernick was ranked 29 out of the top 100 quarterbacks. Which of the 70 qbs ranking below Kaepernick in 2016 were let go after ? http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2016/passing.htm |

The NFL is there to make money. Kaep isn't known for being a good player. I guess his white parents didn't do a good enough job seeing he was raised with privileges. which leave me believing that DNA causes people to be argumentative and lack the ability to succeed. No matter what benefits we give them.

Well you want to piss off your boss. Disrupt business ..you get let go.
Others in the industry ( and it is a industry) see what you did and they don't want you doing it while they are paying you. So you don't get hired Nothing new with that..business 101 My advice to him: Buy a Popeye's franchise before all your money is gone..which will be soon ..because either you owe one or in a year or so you will be working the drive thru window at one He'd done..out of the game too long and tainted..by his own doing Hope your personal protest was worth the unemployment, Colin You da man !! Lol |

I bet even McDonald's won't hire kaep unless he gets a hair cut. Looking like he just stepped out of the jungle instead of living in a civilized society.

No matter what benefits we give them. Wow, interesting. Are you now going to bring up the Jimmy the Greek argument that DNA makes Colin more suited to running than being a QB, because of his "kinesiology"? Are you implying that black DNA is inferior? You DID make a point that he was raised by white parent. He is out of work for the same reason that Tim Tebow is out of football; they draw too much negative attention to themselves, and then, to the team.... and oddly enough, both for taking a knee. Dez Bryant is seeing the same thing this season (albeit, without the knee), but someone might take a chance on him. |

Every American has the right to protest.. every one of us. But when you take your personal protest to work ( And being a paid football player.. is work), you have then forced your views upon others who did not seek your views.
The people in the stadium and watching the game on T.V did not tune in to watch a protest.. they tune in to watch a football game. The protester did not pay for the venue (stadium), his boss did. If one was to walk into work and take a knee as the president of their company was holding a meeting, that person would be carrying their personal belongs to their car a 1/2 hour later. Again, everyone has the right to protest, but do it on your own time.. at your own cost.. and don't force feed it to those who don't care. He got what he deserved. |

He just wants money...he knows he'll never wear a NFL uniform again...if he wanted to play, he woulda went to Canada...

^^^ Truth
It doesn't matter your past, it doesn't matter your political views, it doesn't matter what you protest. The CFL will hire you if you can play the game lol |

In 2016, Kapernick donated $33,000 to 100 Suits, according to the group’s founder Kevin Livingston, whose organization provides free business attire to underprivileged men and women looking for job opportunities.
_____________________________________________________________________ Well, I hope he held on to one... he's going to need it. |

He could have easily protested on his own time without biting the hand that feeds him. |

I just want him to win the suit to send the message that certain types of retaliation against people's livelihoods for exercising free expression wont be tolerated. |
