Topic: Keep running the ball Colin | |

According to what I just read, in addition to his apparel and shoes contract with Nike they also just cut him a big check to be in this marketing program So it would appear he is making a profit on his protesting |

I noticed they waited till after school started back. Most people don't want to be associated with thug life. Basically that's what nike has done. Parents can't take those shoes etc back.

Like owners made money off of athletes playing ball. Making others money has long been good enough reason for being PAID in this country. If he isnt played for ball, and he is giving to charity, he still needs income to survive and contribute. |

I bet by next year his car will look like a NASCAR with all the endorsements So the guy slams our Law Enforcement, Disrespects our soldiers and is engaged to someone who is a strong supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood and he gets endorsed by Nike? I guess next Nike will endorse Assad or mayb e even a Bin Laden...…. |

According to what I just read, in addition to his apparel and shoes contract with Nike they also just cut him a big check to be in this marketing program So it would appear he is making a profit on his protesting Ironic isn't it? He is profiting off of supposed oppression. He has become what he has been supposedly protesting! He led a really oppressed life living in a million dollar home with a white family and had the best schooling in the country. He really didn't go off the deep end until he started dating that wackjob whos whole family is in the Muslim Brotherhood. He was a bit of an arrogant a$$hole when he attended UNR, I met him several times but he was never this big of a douche until he started dating the terrorist. |

Nah. when you get paid for your so called protest you are then selling it
Cheapens the entire concept. What this is is a marketing project. To generate sales... for Nike. that is the bottom line. Marketing. And money. No different the a athlete on a T.V commercial selling his or her name or face. But you seem well informed on Colin so why not take us thru a week in Colin's life. Where is he protesting this week? What shows or radio is he doing to " spread the word" ? Must be busy . Don't tell me that the guy is just sitting home waiting for more ways to sell his " cause"? Nah..he has to be doing more then that. Right? So what is he doing this week? Or next week?..or actually..any week ? |

THAT is A LOT MORE than the other people that are OPPOSING HIM are willing to do!!! what are YOU doing to support YOUR opinion on the subject, except TALKING about it? |

Bold move by Nike... I think wise too, at some point.
(Am I gonna get it now...Lol..... Bring it.) ![]() |

I, as an European, find it pretty ridiculous in the first place, to twist a protest that concerns a totally different issue into being a matter of not being a patriot. What if Trump himself kneeled to honour the national anthem? Then it suddenly would be the only right thing to do, and if people didn't do it, it would be unpatriotic. People HAD to kneel in front of Kings and Queens to show their rightful respect in old Europe. They still do. A sign of respect. It seems like no matter what people do to live out their rights as humans... freedom of speech for one.... will be compromised or twisted around as being wrong. That's even without uttering a word. |

It doesn't matter how you slice it Dave he is a paid protester
A professional protester. BTW. Isn't that Al Sharpton's gig? |

Police and military are more likely to be buying from nike than thugs running from the cops. A bolder move would have been to release that pic before school started. |

Nike "just did it"
We'll see if it helps or hurts them but they def "just did it" |

Nike are not stupid. They sell way more abroad, worldwide. And... Sorry the rest of the world... have a prob with the "Honest" President. With that in mind, I think that Nike already saw that the money they bring in from abroad by far exeeds the money from one single country. In other words... It's logic. How many people are we in the world? Around 7-8 billions. How can 320-350 million think that they can be a buying superior factor compared to the whole world? How can a 5% think that they're still a superior factor with a politic that draws them away from the rest of the world..? America IS GREAT... But with the politics that only alienates them from the rest of the world will leave them alone like the bad boy not invited. No civilization EVER lived forever...NONE! Thoughout history. What makes people think that this time will be different? Please America... We've loved the 2-3-4 generations with you as the greatest country in the world. Pleeeeese, don't jeopardize it. You are amazing and fantastic people...We all effing love you. Don't eff it up because of one man. Pleeeease look at history... and I'm talking about WORLD history. |

Nike is marketing to their customer of the next thirty years, not the last thirty years.
The new customer base will be highly educated and able to draw a distinction between protesting the American flag vs protesting institutionalized racial violence. — Downtown Josh Brown (@ReformedBroker) September 4, 2018 As long as Nike is paying the $$, NFL will go along. $$ rules the NFL, not principles — Matt Powell (@NPDMattPowell) September 4, 2018 ,,keep running the ball Colin ... |
