I've never bought Nike products.

Nike stock is down 3% today. Significant.

not really ...

Adidas is down 2.5 percent, without any controversy

the market goes up and down, as do stocks, its the nature of the beast....

I'm not afraid of African Americans. My opinions would be the same no matter the race.

Sports are not to be a place for political opinions or protests

The Olympics are a great testament to this, people from around the world show up to compete, not protest and certainly not to disrespect the games.

Some that see Colin as some kind of hero do not grasp the spirit of sports

really?

In 1980, 62 countries led by the United States of America boycotted the Moscow summer Olympics after the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan on Christmas 1979. The decision was not one made by American athletes. It was made by President Jimmy Carter and the decision was one of the least popular ones Carter ever made during his presidency.

Jackie Robinson was once enemy number one as well ... old bigoted traditions die out ... the next generation isnt as stiped in 'customs and traditions' ...

That boycott WAS NOT in the spirit of the games. If you asked Jimmy today, I bet he'd tell you this.

I'd support Colin if his protests were anywhere else than ground level playing field

I'll label him "opportunistic" and anti-sportsman, way to go Colin whoa

Adidas is a German company.

Different dynamics than an American company having an anti-American rebellious outcast endorsing them.

what about politics is 'the spirit of the game'?

how is forced shows of patriotism in 'the spirit of the game?" exactly

Taking advantage of opportunity makes some people presidential ...lol

The kid obviously did not know how things would turn out and he took a GREAT RISK, that is not opportunistic.

I have posted all the things he is into BESIDES the protest, .. that is no opportunistic

if he happens to be able to salvage SOME type of income to continue making contributions to his cause and to live his life ... GOOD FOR HIM.

that doesnt matter, where its founded, what matters is where its markets are, and both have multi national markets ...

"The only thing Kaepernick is qualified to endorse is knee pads."

considering I dont know who Starnes is, and probably not NEARLY as many people know his name as Kaepernick

I wonder how much Starnes can endorse? Maybe a bit jealous that someone is able to keep moving on even after being unfairly targeted and robbed of the income he had come to earn?

please explain why the founding location makes a difference when comparing loss in stocks?

in any case, the nature of stocks is they go up and down, after the buzz of angry 'patriots' wears down and the professionals who the gear is aimed towards continue purchasing their gear, the stock will be back to business as usual ...

Opportunistic because he was a mediocre QB with below avg pass completion %

Below 60% and your days are numbered in NFL... Saw his career skidding so he figured he had nothing to lose, the Nike payday will be short lived, just you watch

I'm sorry sir.
Are you an American Noble or a middleclass worker, or which class do you belong to?
Working class?

None of your business.

In that case you've already answered that you're not as much as you send yourself out to be.
A noble woman would.. under noble conditions... Make sure to take the UPPER hand, and tell a people-lover like myself to go far further away than you did.
I wish you would.... So that we could have a good and honest discussion about race and the equals of human beings, but as you seem to withdraw already, I guess we'll not have that pleasure to entertain the rest of the audience in this forum with our brilliance.... Lol.

I seem to not be able to remember who actually did build the american economy???
Was it cotton?... Or coffee... Maybe the sugar...I know it was some kinda field work.
Was it the whites sitting on their horses or the blacks dying in the fields.... ? I forgot. My memory is foggy as I can't face reality.

Look up the word "Noble."
What does it mean in the dictionary?
While you look that up, I'll tell who was noble all through history.

It was the people that died for the whites to get rich and whom lived a priviledged life on behalf of blood, sweat and tears... Torn families and cultures. Ripped away from their homes in their homeland.
Hundreds of years. Ripping apart cultures and families the "Nobles" as you call yourself, destroyed one continent while building another.
Namely your own.
Ok... Now we're only down to two civilizations that we, as white people effed up.
Actually several others, but this post will be to long if I kept being honest.
Now!...NOW! The same effing white man doesn't want to share the wealth that they stole, beat, ripped, drained, tapped, from the rest of humanity..... And you call yourself an upper class white woman?
Is that how I'm to understand that?
Sorry...Just asking?...:)
