Having been cheated on twice by my first and second wives I can give a pretty good answer to why they may have cheated . I think it explains a lot of cheaters actually...I wasn’t giving either on of them something they needed in our relationship...whether it was more of my time or displays of affection or any number of things...now they may have said what was lacking but I must not have listened and that is when they went looking for what was lacking ...because generally they cheat because they aren’t strong or brave enough to leave the relationship until they know they have somebody else who says they live them...

Man, that is really big of you to shoulder that much responsibility - people are generally so quick to bad mouth the cheater (and rightfully so) but generally do not have the insight to acknowledge the things they may or may not have done to get the ball rolling so to speak. Ultimately, however, the one who cheats possesses one or more character flaws that causes them to avoid handling things the proper way. |

Ultimately, however, the one who cheats possesses one or more character flaws that causes them to avoid handling things the proper way. And that's one of the reasons why I admire my second ex. At LAX bound for France she says to me ; I know this is gonna be hard for you cuz you're one horny mother and I don't wanna come back and get SDI , so my best friend here is gonna take care of you. What can a guy say to that? And no we didn't have a threesome when she came back. And yes she took care of me every day for 6 months. What pray tell is the character flaw in that? |

They are Narcissistic, self centered or doesn't follow the golden rule. Guess there could be other reasons.

There are few reasons I believe people cheat. First (youth) when we are young testosterone.. seems to dictate much of our Behavior along with our Natural Instincts. But as we get older( there are a few ecceptions) they start to become more of a personality flaw or a character defect.. it's not necessarily about the physical act of cheating. It's more so about a fear or something that is missing or their selfish needs are not fulfilled when that individual thinks they are not getting what they want or need whether it be security self-esteem or any other number of reasons... They cheat it never seems to fill the void so they continue to cheat but never filling that void.. which in turn harms others.. that in turn causes them same insecurities and fears so they start to trust less and begin to fill the void they are experiencing...
