I guess the upside on not dating or being in a relationship is that you have lots of time to volunteer with your community. Its been a great way to get out of the house and meet some really great friends.

Well, it's not hard to find but some of the profiles and requirements scare guys off. If you meet these requirements and like me, then let me call the family together and you come over to meet us and if we approve then we will go ahead and set the date. As opposed to the anything goes please date me I'm desperate younger women profiles. Hey, I'm just looking for a date and take it from there. If it goes well, great. If not, next!

Most men don't get the physical attention lare in life so they look for other men to have fum with. Look at craigslist and other dating sites.Way more males looking for same sex contact than women looking for men.When men meet they tend to get down to business.

Don't know where you get your resources. I have never been approached by a guy & neither have my friends. Been a widower for 15+ years & if this is as large a group as you suggest; think I would have stumbled across it. OPINION

I couldn't find love because I am old and unattractive. Sucks but such is life. Well this isn't what this Calgary guy thinks Guess you are the exception. And you two haven't met because why?????? Probably because we aren't very compatible. His idea of biking is motorized while mine is cycling. I don't think he would be up to cycling 50 kms with me. Doesn't seem the type. LOL Do you belong to a Cyling group? Nope; I just cycle on my own or with my best friend. I am just very active with cycling, hiking, weight lifting, and kick boxing. I am also still very active with the two military bands; one I play in and the other I teach. I found trying to be with a man that is not as active as me doesn't work. Two people can have a relationship with out changing eachothers life styles. I believe older people learn to enjoy what time they share together & the time they are apart. The key to older relationships. As for looks, your pics are wonderful & the kick boxing sounds interesting. Stay as you are & go with the flow, never know what might happen. OPINION

I belong to POF also...the men i meet there have never complained about being hit on by other men...but I'll ask..with the morals of todays lifestyle and liberals trying to take God out of everything, same sex marriage and all the rest happening, I'm not surprised at matutum60's post...everything is going to hell in a hand basket..and that's MY opinion.

Unless he's somehow listed his "in search of" incorrectly and inadvertently encountered same sex contacts, then I think it sounds more like a "protests too much" or just stirring the pot for the heck of it. And I don't really care if he's straight or gay...I think the angry, insulting way he talks about other men is unfair to decent men that I know use both this and other online sites. Sorry, matutum60 - I think you are out of line with that sweeping generalization about older men.

Just ck'd his profile; "looking for man for intimate incounter" There is your answer. Why is he even posting in a comment about ladies??
