Feral writes: But when take scripture and butcher to fit you ideas of what "YOU" think.....No way people.......If people are looking for an accurate account of scripture you don't go to someone who doesn't believe.....would that make sense to anyone.....and just as I would never be an authority on and pantiest or preterist, or athiest view...
So let me say to all the good people reading these forums......be careful as it talks about in the very subject that this thread is about....There are false prohets, false teachers......and people led not of God. In the context of this new light I withdraw my suggestion that every Christian follow the beliefs of Feral. After all she is correct. If one is going to take scripture to heart, if that is where one believes they will find all the answers, then they CAN NOT depend on ANY human to lead them in any way. The interpretation of scripture must be in the hands of the ONE TRUE KNOWN BELIEVER, the individual. Compare your particular beliefs all day long with another and you will only find differences. Who is the unbeliever, who is the fals prophet, who is the false teacher. I tell you it is ANYONE who offers an opinion to you. YOU alone must walk that path and you risk a great deal of your own peace of mind when you listen to anyone. Instead belive what you have come to know through your own personal work and leave the voice of error to those who would speak of what they proclaim to KNOW. And redy you just say the same blah blah blah.......I am not saying for all you believe me...redy where did I say that.......Haven't I always said follow the Lord.....all in his name....so again all I see is blah blah blah....because as usual you say something and say nothing. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INTERPRETING SCRIPTURE AND BUTCHERING IT. yep!! sure is!! look in the mirror deb. I can fine....tyvm.....and see one big difference tribo that you fail at....put scripture aside....Jesus knows my heart.....and he knows yours......nuf said. |

Hi Diane,
hmmm... I have taken your words to heart. "Wouldee - the wind speaks to me, it always has, and the poetry it gives me inspires words on a page for which I can take no credit. Perhaps someday I will publish them anonymously because I don't know whom to attribute the words. Don't you think if they were the inspiration of the H.S. I might have been moved to believe differently than I do? And do you believe that one can have such an intimate connection and still be cursed to suffer the fate that Christians would assign to me? " To your first question I say, Whatever the source of the words speaking to your heart, privately, they were not words precipitated by the manifestation of an indwelling permanence, necessarily, and that does not infer that they cannot be from the Holy Spirit. Not knowing what the words are, though they are presently in your being without decay, I assume, I can also identify with your humility and meekness which suggests that they be shared as anonymously as they were given. But first and foremost, I would be of a mind to know that the words prove themselves as truthful in their import by the gleaning of their efficacy , by virtue of their impact, on at least a personal level. To your second question I say, That had crossed my mind as well when I sought the Lord, privately, so many years ago. But one's fate at the hands of Christian judgement is the only known reflection giving the appearance of God's judgement when assuming that the Christian "one accord" also includes the Lord's judgement in complicity and harmony. You have not experienced a consensus, I am sure, from all Christians in that regard. You know, wearing the righteousness of God, in Christ, is wearing something which is not our own, dear one. Such an accountability for a personal responsibility to enter into such a tough and demanding personal presence and permanence as that of the Holy Spirit in one's life should never be taken lightly, and it is an endeavor that requires fortitude and strength and courage to allow oneself to be apprehended of and is an apprehension that is unalterably life changing. I agree, that fellowship with Christians of such an apprehension as that is a tough thing to contemplate when the view is seen through the painful filter of an added dimension of diligent resolve that may seem to have to accompany such an endeavor of the heart; but many there be of us that can be found of great comfort to you - and the Holy Spirit would assuredly lead and guide such friendships and fellowships with those of us also having been exercised by similar predilections and tastes as may have befallen us all in one way or another at one time in our lives or another. But that may be beside the point. My mind wanders. I say risk it. Share the poetry. and claim it with the caveat that you have expressed about it here. It was given you. wear it and share it, if it so pleases you. I am confident that the poetry in your heart has a beauty to it. I am reminded of a saying that says freely we are given, freely give. That which is released gives place to that which may come. |

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INTERPRETING SCRIPTURE AND BUTCHERING IT. You are always telling people you KNOW, you have the KNOWLEDGE and you do this by OVERRIDING what they have said. Sorry to inform you Deb but that is the equivalent and say you know and they don't, you are right and they are wrong. Now if you don't want to sound that way, you must resist the urge to be almighty and admit that what you believe is what you alone have learned. The problem with that, Deb is that what you learned you MUST allow others to learn for themselves, but YOU CAN'T SEEM TO DO THAT, you become neurotic to protect a god. What others see you protecting is not your god but your belief that you know what others don't or perhaps you protect your mental state or your face, who knows. Speaking of butchering scripture - how can the oldest and most educated scholars constantly be finding new issues of biblical record to argue over but Deb knows all the answers by absolute perfect interpretation of the very scriptures that are in question? Who is the butcher? Again I will ask you who has the knowledge and who is the false prophet when two people who proclaim to speak with the tongue of the same HS, speak in opposition? Because that IS A TRUTH then Deb can not always be in the right. Who is the butcher then? |

Again Redy....did I ever say they were wrong and I was right......nope.....I put the information out there.....I only say what I know as for me.....myself and I......I don't presume to know anything of what you believe.....right.....true....but you all want to presume you know of my God, my Christ when in fact you do not.
I have always always made it clear that I know what I know from my own experiences and I have never led any to believe differently....now have I? Learn for yourselves....but then leave what knowledge you think you know of my God, my Christ out of it...because that is the only time....you will hear it from me. And the same can apply to you all.....put the information out.....don't put your information out their disputing mine...I will never ever tolerate that. And God doesn't need protection......It's to me a slap in mine and in my Lord's face... Well I think people will always have their interpretation of what "they" think it means....but then again if I am taking scripture and disproving it....and somehow as someone said...that gets overlooked ignored and said why don't you just answer the question....well I did in the first OP....but no one sees.... I read the scriptures and study them as they are intended with a heart and a Love of the Lord. You will as in Matthew 13 never truly know and never truly understand because God won't let you...if it doesn't come from a heart for Him......Do you get that? See I can't be the butcher here redy....because I read the scripture and the book loving the Lord....He knows my heart, so therefore my eyes and ears are open.... example for redy. Matthew 13 The Parable of the Sower 1That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. 2Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3Then he told them many things in parables, saying: "A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9He who has ears, let him hear." 10The disciples came to him and asked, "Why do you speak to the people in parables?" 11He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 13This is why I speak to them in parables: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. 14In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: " 'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. 15For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.'[a] 16But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. 17For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it. 18"Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. 22The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. 23But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown." what does that mean? |

JB - some questions. Do you ever look at something or an event and see it as a sign? A sign requiring further action from you? Of course. If the clouds get dark and I see lightning, I may take that as a sign of rain coming. That is an obvious example but it is a serious one. Some signs are obvious to most, but many signs are not noticed. Some only have personal or symbolic meanings to the observer. As far as it requiring "further action" from me, that would be my decision alone. I could get an umbrella or just take a chance on getting wet. Signs are everywhere and you can read them like you read tarot cards. They will reveal the energy present in the moment. Do you or have you, ever heard a voice in your head urging you to follow a certain course of action? Amazingly enough, yes I have. ~The voice was my own voice and I recognized it as myself. Both times it's message saved my life in a time when I was in imminent danger. The first time I was shown a future event of me getting killed in a car accident as I was about to make a left hand turn in front of a truck. I was shown the accident about ten times real fast and I even had a conversation with myself during that spit second arguing that I had looked in the rear view mirror and I had not seen anything. The voice was my own and it said "Yes, I know, but what would it hurt you to just take one second and look over your shoulder?" I agreed, and that is what saved my life. Delusional? Maybe, but I'm not going to argue with a delusion that saved my life. LOL Another time, while in a bar, I heard my own voice loudly proclaim (inside my head) "There is someone in my car!" It was so loud I could not stop myself from repeating it out loud about three times. People thought I had lost my mind. I took three men with me to check it out and sure enough there was a man hiding in the back seat of my car! We could not see him until we actually opened the car and the light came on. Again, I'm not going to argue with that delusion. It saved my life again. I suspect that man meant to do me harm. Apart from those two times, one other time I recieved a telepathic communication from a man I was dating. I knew it was him too and that it was a telepathic communication from him to me. I am glad for that experience because now I know if I hear a voice in my head, I can usually tell who it is. If it is a stranger, I will be suspicious of some sort of mind control. LOL Have you ever felt removed from your current circustance only to be shown somthing meant to have an effect on your thoughts or actions? I don't understand this question. If you say yes to any of these questions then you, no doubt have so theories to account for these happenings.
My theories are that telepathy is a fact. And that our awareness (of the future and other things) is more than we realize. I personally call them delusions, for lack of any scientific confirmation to the contrary - HOWEVER, I'm open to possiblities, but only if they can be sceintifically exemplified. I can understand that. But then I have no intention of trying to prove or convince anyone else of my theories, I'm just not that smart as to how I would do that. LOL. For some Christians, the answer to all the above questions is that the Holy Spirit shows them signs and because it has, however they interpret that sign, so it must be. Some also claim to hear the voice of the HS or have conversation with the HS. Some believe that the HS only speaks through them and the language cannot be interpreted except through another kind of HS gift. And finally, many believe they experience religious revelations akin to near death experiences in which they are given certain information. And then there are those who believe that simply becasue they believe and are born again, that they cannot be led astray, if they follow all the communications of the HS. Now what makes you think that those beliefs can be moved once they've proclaimed these delusions over and over again to their family, peers, children and the world around them at truth from knowledge inspired by their god. Most people, once they get that far, are incapable of admitting their error or making a change. It is, in my opinion, a psychologically intracate issue tied at its deepest roots to the mental stability of the individual. That is why I subscribe to your ideas that people should maintain their 'beliefs' without professing their 'knowledge' of these beliefs. For almost anyone can see a new light and change a belief, but changing a proclaimed and TAUGHT truth, is having to eat crow, to admit to subverting people, and never being able to apologise to all those that got caught up in the delusion because of the lead they took. Changing a core belief structure is hard on a person mentally and physically. I have done it. I was very sick for three months. And I was not even that caught up in my belief, mine was just a mild case. So you are correct, changing for some would be impossible. JB |

Warning:
Wouldee, how very nice of you to put so much effort and personal information into your reply. I would like to tell you that the themes in the poetry and prose were many, and all were written from start to finish without error and except for an awareness of the topic, I did not know what I had written until it was finished. The spirit in the writing is distinctly human, for it declares the wonder and beauty of all a human can perceive and think and ponder, even thoughts of god and heaven but without a committment to anything other than the original spirit; that being the wonder and beauty of all the human can perceive and think and ponder. I write still, but no longer have the time to sit as I did when the lazy days of childhood claimed me, body and mind. There have been occasions on which I have given one of these writings to a friend, or family member as an inspiration for some particular event. I have even written poems of sympathy at the death of loved ones and for those who believed,in God, there was solice to be found in Godly words. I often found those to be somewhat amusing because they were not something I would have chosen to write, but they suited the individuals they were intended for. I have marked those in my journals so that my Son will know which ones had specific meanings and for whom they did. Perhaps he will denote those specially, should he ever choose to publish them. It was because of the writings that I tried then and still try to understand why people believe as they do. But becoming an adult and seeing how the judgement of religious committment ends in so much desparity for other human beings has led me to another path, not so peaceful. One set on opening eyes and hearts, not to their god but to their human brothers and sisters. It is not within me and never has been to believe that there is anything more precious in this life than others like us, than the environment that supports us. For that reason, I have never understood why any god would require It come before Its' own precious creations. How self indulgent of such an all powerful being. SORRY FOR THE INTERUPTION - back to the program. |

I believe that aliens exist and I know people who have seen them, been abducted by them, and I have seen mutilated cattle attributed to them. So yes, I have collected a huge amount of evidence that they do indeed exist, and trust me they are not friendly... most of them anyway. And if you choose to laugh at that go right ahead and laugh and make fun if it makes your day. But I have never told you or anyone that I expect them to "beam me up" so save your ridicule for someone who cares. LOL Even the Pope has said that it is okay to believe in aliens, so I guess I'm with the in crowd now. Besides, you keep saying that Jesus is coming in a cloud from the sky and guess what? He will be perceived as an alien. He probably is an alien. So you believe in aliens too I guess. JB |

SORRY FOR THE INTERUPTION - back to the program. Hi Diane. Thank you for sharing that. cool. Intimate sexual love is also self indulgent if only an apprehension of an attraction elicited by the natural senses. If we are truly made in the image and likeness of God, then why wouldn't we also find that intimate spiritual love could not also fall prey to counterfeit interpretations of self indulgence? Perhaps self indulgence is not a good measuring rod for discerning God's love. It isn't, in Christ Jesus. |

Wouldee, were you offended?
Intimate sexual love is also self indulgent if only an apprehension of an attraction elicited by the natural senses.
If we are truly made in the image and likeness of God, then why wouldn't we also find that intimate spiritual love could not also fall prey to counterfeit interpretations of self indulgence? Perhaps self indulgence is not a good measuring rod for discerning God's love. Humanity and the acceptance of all that it encompasses, its very nature is the best test I can think of to determine ones' ability to love purely and accept unconditionally. Consider the varience between humans and what it takes to be so loving and accepting. What more could any creator ask for, than for its' creations to love, honor, cherrish and respect all that was created? The idea that sex is pleasurable is obviously not a man-made rule. It has its' roots internally as does the attraction that people find for others. To resist what has been given us is to find the creation deviant, disgusting - why would a god create such a thing, especially if the thing it created was created perfectly? NOW if you are intimating that a god would TEST its' creations by setting obscure rules to be followed with the guidance of a Holy Spirit, whose voice cannot always be discerned or understood, then I question the intelligence and or the mental capability of the person who was led to such beliefs. |

Hi Diane,
no, I am not offended. I just noticed a filter. I am a big fan of mutual respect and dignity. I am also curious as to how such a proliferation would take shape, ultimately. I am certain that it would not be as I assume, from my limited perspective. My own filters include simplicity and forthrightness. I rarely find anything measuring up to that standard. Not even from me. Interestingly, I find that Jesus Christ has accomplished to apprehend me with His simplicity and forthrightness. I find no apologiues in Him either. He exemplifies mutual respect and dignity to me. That must be a filter, too. I understand your questions as to why I would choose such an example, but I thought it useful as a means to an end in the suggestion that filters are something we all have and seldom recognize as limiting our view. It was just the thought of a self indulgent characteristic being attached to God's love as though there was a need for God to require affirmations from us at all. I don't know Him for having any quality shallowed to wade in. I merely was leaving open the possibility for contemplating that God's love may be a joy for God to share with His creation, specifically humans, on His level, that we might btter love Him loving us. peace. |

Such websites as templemount.org catalog the efforts of many towards this end. There are factions of people with certain agendas who purposely attempt to fulfill Biblical prophecy. To me, that is not true prophecy. It is self fulfilled for a reason, it has an agenda. I would be very skeptical of that kind of goings on. I hope you aren't getting sucked into that. JB You are joking right.....you are going to try to tell me this....one who believes that aliens are going to beam her up....pleaseeeee Oh I give up please do You wish nah, you can go on forever, its ok, i forgive ya - hahaha |

If it is written it is so huh? Well alot of things are written and I know they are not so, so that statement is not truth. Also this rapture thing is just a false promise from a religion that wants you to believe that you are better than the rest of the world because you follow the religion. We will all meet the exact same fate at death, sorry to disappoint all those who think they have a better ending. Feralcatlady stated: You go ahead and think that.....I know different. You see Feralcatlady, that is what destroys your credibility. Saying that you know different. You don't know different, you only believe different. Yes, you have had plenty of miracles in your life and some wondrous things happened in your personal reality and you gave full credit for them to your god. But all of those things could be explained in any number of ways, particularly in my world view of them. But you believe in yours, and that is fine and okay by me, but you lose people when you say you KNOW. You don't know. Nobody knows. They only THINK THEY KNOW. If a person says they know something that cannot be known, then they truly appear to be delusional to others. Admit that you believe differently, but admit that you don't know, then others will respect you more. People who claim to know, are unreasonable people, and it is pointless to converse with them because they are so certain they are right they do not look at anything objectively. So to a reasonable person, they appear to be a hopeless cause. No reason to debate anything with them because their ears are plugged and they are shut off from all but their own view of reality. JB Jeannie!!!! Feral KNOWS..so Do I..so do ALL BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS!!! This is NOT just some belief we have...we have been BORN OF GOD...our spirit is born again!!!! (gonna keep repeating this til it gets thru your thick heads here !!!!) AGAIN I REPEAT.....WE ARE BORN OF GOD.....That is HOW WE KNOW!!! WE DID NOT NOT NOT JUST JOIN SOME RELIGION....WE HAVE BECOME BORN AGAIN , AND OUR SPIRIT IS BRAND NEW..WE ARE NOW NEW CREATURES IN CHRIST...NO OTHER RELIGION OFFERS THAT EXPERIENCE OF BEING BORN OF GOD .... EXCEPT CHRISTIANITY. ONLY!!!!! WE JOIN JESUS...AND OUR FELLOWSHIP IS RE -ESTABLISHED BACK WITH GOD ALMIGHTY!! GET IT NOW???!!! It is not some guessing game here..we christians KNOW..and that is why our FAITH is Unshakeable...cause we are truly Born Again. WE KNOW THAT WE KNOW THAT WE KNOW...and Sweet Jeannie..when you become born again one day soon, you will KNOW too. In fact, All of you will one day know..cause I am believing God will help you all to see ...cause I want to see you all in heaven with me one day. I love you all.
