'Twas the Night Before Jesus Came
'Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house Not a creature was praying, not one in the house. Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care In hopes that Jesus would not come there. The children were dressing to crawl into bed, Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head. And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap. When out of the East there arose such a clatter, I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash! When what to my wondering eyes should appear But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here. With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray I knew in a moment this must be The Day! The light of His face made me cover my head It was Jesus! returning just like He had said. And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself. In the Book of Life which He held in His hand Was written the name of every saved man. He spoke not a word as He searched for my name; When He said "It's not here" my head hung in shame. The people whose names had been written with love He gathered to take to His Father above. With those who were ready He rose without a sound While all the rest were left standing around. I fell to my knees, but it was too late; I had waited too long and this sealed my fate. I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight; Oh, if only I had been ready tonight. In the words of this poem the meaning is clear; The coming of Jesus is drawing near. There's only one life and when comes the last call We'll find that the Bible was true after all! |

PB chpt.:1 VS 1 thru 35? well it seems to fit in with the rest of futurist belief's, most myth's do, unfortunately. but tnx anyway, my sons and grandsons and their grandsons will get a kick out of reading this "story" if it survives. PB, there will come a day when the earth and stars will be destroyed for sure - but not in any near future and definitely not by your god, maybe a super nova, along with super hurricane's,super sunami's, mega volcano explosions, or other or all natural disaster's. but god already accomplished what he had to long time ago as to fulfilling what he and his son spoke of. - sorry - |

Let me just say this to you who await the arrival of Jesus coming down from a cloud. This kind of legend is just what the evil Draconian aliens of Orion need to seduce millions of willing slaves to approach their space ship and get beamed up to be taken away to where they will be harvested as cattle or sheep. They eat humans you know. I would be very skeptical of any event that looked like "angels from the sky." JB |

Listen PB, there will be terrible things that might happen in the future just as have happened before and after the books views. Sciece now holds several takes on this from super tidal waves, mega earthquakes, super volcano's, asteroid collisions, etc.. If one or more of these were to happen at once i'm sure you'd all be saying that he's coming as you've been doing for nearly 2000 yrs now. your belief that israel being reborn again is stupid if you check it out closely, the signs before or by AD 70 include all that was to happen as predicted by christ and the apostles before that date. your sight is limited baby, when one reads of all that happened 4 years prior to the destruction of the temple and all jocephus wrote of and others about the horrible conditions of jerusalem in its last days and what was happening in the skies you can easily conclude that both the spiritual and physical that was happening then shows all jesus prophecys coming about. but alas you will never know so keep on looking, keep on believing that your savior draws nigh, for he surely is - you will see your savior when you die or are dieng for sure. but not before then. |
