We have several Saturday Markets close by to where I live and they are so fun to go to and see what craftsmen and farmers have to sell. We also have one every Thursay on Third Street in "downtown" McMinnville. The last one I went to was in Salem and I bought some homemade soap and flowers (sunflowers) oh and a tie-dyed skirt, not to much to offer in produce at that time since it was early June. But I really enjoy going to them and just walking through, nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon if I don't have any thing else planned. We also have farmers that have their own produce stands, where at some you can pick your own green beans, tomatoes or just buy from the stand, those are lots of fun also.

My very favorite season here in Oregon is Fall, the leaves change color, the weathers a bit chilly in the mornings, and gradually warms up during the day. You can sit in front of the firepace/woodstove/space heater in the evenings cuddling with someone special, enjoying a good movie and listening to the rain outside.People bundle up in winter coats and scurry about anxious to get back to home where it is nice and warm. Second I like summer.
