I have tons of vinyl, new and old, spin all the time too! I use my pc and mp3's etc. for my remixes nowadays though, cheaper and I don't run the risk of damaging a record I can't replace.

yes, ALL men aged 35-55 are completely useless, you're totally screwed
![]() You might have better luck meeting people if you didn't assume and generalize and stepped away from the computer every now and then, so far I've not had much luck here either but then again, I realize there's a really big world outside of the internet so it's all good. I think the harder you look the less likely you are to find anybody so just have fun, relax, do stuff you enjoy, take the focus away from being single and live your life like it doesn't matter, I'd be willing to bet once you do something or someone will turn up, I did meet one person here who is pretty awesome, and she didn't turn up until after I'd been on here for quite some time and I hadn't even checked the site in weeks so Good luck out there ![]() |

simple solution = stick to the truth
lying always comes out in one form or another so why bother? 9 out of 10 times if the person who lied would have just been honest to begin with the whole thing they lied about would have been easier to deal with, rather than delaying whatever it is with a lie just come out with it and quit being lame already. There's never going to be a situation where lying or "skirting the truth" helps anyone, if you believe that you're only rationalizing for your conscience as it's never the solution to anything to lie, period. |

Well, while I'm sure most UT fans would consider a move from Head Coach at Tech to Offensive Coordinator at UT a step up, something tells me Leach might not share in that opinion. But you are right that the sport is becoming less a sport and more a business. and it is sad to see but still there's nothing like a college football game, especially if you get to see it at the stadium.. I don't see how Tx could get much worse, truth be told, on defense, especially in the secondary.. Y'all were really green and got burned alot in the secondary.. It seems that's kind of been the achilles heal for a few years now. I know my dad b1tches about it all the time, wondering how they can be so weak in the secondary like they have been for the past couple years Actually most of cfb would call that an upgrade ![]() ![]() So what I'm hearing is you think Texas has a terrible D just because a few passes slipped through the young un's in the secondary? I'd beg to differ, if not for the D Texas probably would have dropped another 1-2 games, Colt's awesome and all but even he can't do it all by himself and without the D last year we would have lost to OU, possibly Ok St. and Missouri, they kept us in the game on several occasions so saying they can't get worse is nuts, they could be a lot worse. I've yet to see a terrible defense produce lombardi and thorpe winners, and we've had both over the last couple of years. |

2nd down now deep strike got the big man! Crabtree!! Pulls free!! and... Touchdown Red Raiders!! with one second to go!! you wake up in a cold sweat with that scene playing in your head over and over, don't you?? ![]() nah, I'm just messin' around. Texas had a great season.. and looks to have had a good recruiting class, as always.. Tech, though, made big strides in the recruiting class this year. Some real difference makers, it seems, on the d-line and in the secondary.. we'll see how they pan out.. Pearlie Graves looks to be a monster. And check out a guy out of Columbus named LaAdrian Waddle.. dude is huge 6'7" 350+ with wheels, a real athlete..they grow 'em big out in the country what I'm really pleased to see is that Leach & Co won a good number of battles against the likes of Michigan and Oklahoma.. I'm not sure if Tech and Texas were in serious competition over any of the same prospects.. none that I can think of but Texas always does well.. ND seems to be re-upping again and should look good in the coming years.. I just wonder how much more rope the fan base is going to give Weis.. No actually I don't, I didn't care so much that they lost as much as I knew the BCS was going to screw us over it, gets harder and harder each year to enjoy cfb actually, it's no longer a sport as it is a business, and I think that sucks. Yeah Texas got a lot of amazing guys, this season should be fun to watch with Colt and Shipley staying, plus their ground game should pick up a bit, a lot of people are saying the D might not be as good but I'm not convinced of that yet, we'll see how they look season opener, should be a good year again. I wish Leach would come over as our offensive coordinator, I can't stand Davis and some of his brainless calls. |

I swear this site eats it's young! Yea maybe he is young and frusterated and had a run of bad luck but if someone comes in and asks a question, the same question I dare say you have all felt, maybe even posted, at one time or another is it really the time to dog on him? it's not just this site, people get flamed all over the web for asking seemingly innocent questions. Obviously some folks haven't learned that you can't get ALL the answers here, not only that, but whenever you generalize you'll never get any kind of real answer anyway as the question is already jacked to begin with, one person's bad might be another person's good etc. I'm just surprised it was a dude asking about women, most of the time it's women asking "where all the good guys are", oddly enough, they don't seem to get hammered as hard as the poor guy who started this mess...hmmmmm.... ![]() |
