Had my daughter and grandkids here for a week and a half for Christmas!! Been super busy with them! It was a wonderful visit and Christmas with them!! Took them home yesterday to Manassas!! Whew!! Am I broke and worn out!! but, it's all good!!

i wish for the gift/miracle of prosperity. My daughter is 6 mos pregnant, has two kids already, now her man is in jail and she and the kids live with his 83 yr old grandmother. I am disabled and live on ss. They did spend Christmas with me, but, they can't live with me cause i am on hud. I just want them to have their own place that no one can take from them. I love them very much.

My parents are in their 80's. They don't believe in mixing races. If I were attracted to a guy who wasn't "white", I would not act on it because of them. After they pass on, it's my choice. I can't see getting them upset for something I see as a non issue, but, it is definetly an issue for them. To me, the person you are is what matters. It's a conflict for me for now.

we were newlyweds and he gave me an electric blanket!! I cried and cried! Now I say he was trying to tell me to keep my cold feet off his warm azz!! but, i was 21 and so starry eyed back then! lol!

As the years go by, Christmas "time" is dearer to me. My parents are living, Dad is 83 and Mom is 81. All 5 of us siblings are living and in relatively good health. We have an annual family party, with spouses, sig others, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We all bring a dish and have a lot of fun. The focus is on family. My daughter lives 2 hrs away with my grandchildren. This year her husband is in jail and waiting for a bond hearing since Sept. She is pregnant with her 3rd child. I am disabled and did not overspend on them. They are Jasmine-7yrs and Anthony-6yrs. They each got a book from me. A magnetic game, kinda like paper dolls and an artistic project to work on, and they were thrilled!
I feel blessed to have my family, imperfect as it may be. My Christmas present this year is having my daughter and grandchildren staying with me for 2 weeks in my 1 bedroom apartment. They have been pretty well behaved and they cuddle with me and love me, as I love them, unconditionally.
All of our family Christmas's together have been special, but, this year, as we all grow older and Dad is not so well, my Christmas miracle is the gift of family. I have a Nativity Scene made of Olive Wood and it was carved in Bethlehem. The grandchildren know the Christmas story and who Jesus is. I try to live this way year round and am grateful that they can spend this precious time with me now. Peace and joy to you all. Be blessed. Merry Christmas!

3 Wisemen/aka Kings remains are in a Gold "Box" in Cologne (Koln) Cathedral in Germany. I have seen the box. It says "Caspar, Melchior and Baathasar are buried here." I was only taught that these were the 3 Kings who traveled afar to bring Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh to the Lord Jesus in Bethelem, guided by a star.
I have also been in the presence of The remains of St. Peter in the Crypt below the Vatican, in Rome.
The feeling is beyond description!
It is the closest I will ever get to Bethlehem or the Holy Land.

All Christians were united as Christians, and The Roman Catholic Church came later and St. Peter was the cornerstone. Jesus said to Peter, "thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church". From the Gosples of Peter came the foundations of the Roman Catholic Church.
Yes, it has been corrupt at times. People are human and fallible. The Holy Father, The Pope is infallible in matters of the Church through God and The Holy Spirit. I firmly believe The Catholic Churches= Roman, Eastern Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, was the Church of the first Christians. Those people were originally Jews and Gentile alike.

I say Merry Christmas loud and proud!! Christ is the reason for the season. Someone says "happy holidays" to me, I say, "I'm Christian, so I will say Merry Christmas to you." Like it or lump it!

I saw that show too. They believe they are vampires of souls, or emotion even to the extreme. I believe it is a cult. Not interested in looking into it further.
