Topic: Religion is Child Abuse? | |
---|---|
I will kick the subject off in another direction at some point, if nobody else does. If people choose to ignore it, it is up to them, as it is up to me what i think of them for doing so.
to speak that religion abuse children is not in the best interest of those that are religious .....religion can be looked upon as being a haven for the abused or mentally disturbed ...religion provides an unique way for them to blend into society and go practically unnoticed FOR EXAMPLE if someone claim that they saw an alien ....people will think they are mentally disturbed or hallucinating but if someone claim that they saw an Angel or walked with Jesus then it's acceptable even through an Angel is actually an "alien" and Jesus is dead because religion is an acceptable delusion is why some people go undiagnosed and don't receive the help they need ... Jesus is not dead, he rose from the grave 3 days later. |

thanks for proving my point You choosing not to believe it, doesn't make it a delusion. Only from your perspective is it a delusion, and your perspective doesn't constitute it as a fact, just merely an opinion. You have all the right to have an opinion. |

I wish more people would believe in 'SOMETHING' besides their own personal gratification,,,,and power,,
glad to have Jesus and the religion which helps me to study his times, but thats just me |

Cowboy... people do not rise from graves after being dead for three days...so your claim that Jesus rising from the grave after being dead for three days... is not an opinion...it's a delusion.... |

and some would say that KNOWING requires absolute proof,, of which I have none and would not request because I already KNOW Without DNA who my parents are.... but these things often come down to semantics debates,,, this can be solved by you giving an answer to this question do you "know" that you yourself exist or do you "believe" that you yourself exist? please choose either "know" or "believe" when you answer the question about your existence |
