which is my point exactly , as a birth control method, and as to the numbers, apparently you live no where near a big inner city where many have multiple abortions and they are paid for by the state and who foots that bill. Tax payers.

I think people should mind their own business. : )

^really, not when over 70 percent of abortions are being done as a means of birth control and the tax payer foots the bill....

I've always had a problem with the decision process of it, yes the woman carries the child and along with it the majority of the burden, but does it not take two to make the child, therefore shouldn't the decision involve the other person as well...Now the argument is, where are they during the process, half of them don't know, the other half either don't care or support the decision, but what of the one who may want the child.....hmmmmm

In essence from the moment of conception the fetus becomes a living organism, if something is living and you kill it, what have you done.......Then we get to the argument of rapes, molestations and incest, or the child may be developmentally disabled.....so now we are to pick and choose who we bring into the world, sounds like an advocate for cloning, thing is, the one killed could have been the one this world really needed.....The conscience is a terrible thing when you get older or think of what could have been, decisions like that aren't easy, but anyone with a heart and soul has to be haunted by such a decision somewhere down the line....sad, but even sadder is the fact the world will never see that smile that could have been.

But my opinion is biased in this, long ago I was with someone and we lost two, both stillborn. Blood thing, ab neg, O positive

I'll go mind my business now.....

So, why does it have to be the responsibility of a woman to let a guy know she's pregnant? Why don't guys think through the possibilities of sex might equal pregnancy, and therefore, they are equally responsible for birth control, and whether they really want to consider the woman as a possible mother to a child. It's still all left on the women to provide their own birth control, carry, have, and raise the child, and now we have to tell a guy that we're pregnant too, just because they were out for a quick fu#k?

Guys get upset that they are being set aside, but they're just as happy for that quick fling with no commitments.

A couple of bumperstickers I saw, and agree with -

Against Abortion? Don't have sex with a pro-choicer...

If you cut off my reproductive choices, can I cut off yours?

I am sorry for your loss and I hope my words have not made you angry toward me.
My views are not from one who tried so hard and failed for reason they had no control over,,,stillborn is NOT an abortion but yes, I see the aspect of wanting and then having that happen to them..
Its a heart melting life ending time.
I at no time feel it at all RIGHT to have an abortion for NO REASONS other than to kill a baby,,,THATS most people thoughts
in general if a women even contends the thoughts to do one..
And it use to be just a woman's decision to make in private,,,now its slaughter and death and ugly and wrong with no action being great enough to make it right to do..
All senario's have many different reasonings behind the actions taken.....and WE AS A PEOPLE, just can't STOP ALL WITH ONE QUICK FIX..
I don't have the golden answer, but I know its not through a LAW.
WE NEED TO MAKE THAT CHANGE SON ALL KIDS,GIRLS<AND YOUNG WOMEN,,,know how to NOT get pregnant, and know THEY don't want to KILL a baby.....its all that,,,yet that simple. But HOW?????????????

I'm 40 minutes from a major city...like I said at my age, I have known many and none of them were paid for by anyone but themselves..

I cant blame a woman or girl for not wanting to go through a pregnancy which was caused by rape or incest.

But I am against it as a form of birth control for those females who failed to use protection while having their fun.

What about the males that don't take responsibility for their procreation. A female can not get pregnant with out someone contributeing sperm somewhere along the line.

I don't get angry in discussion, because everyone has a right to their opinions and that should be respected by all, that's what forums are intended for as long as it's done within the framework of this site.

as to the bumper pumper, you're right, but does one bad decision justify another...hmmm, and it may just be that the man is irresponsible, but who suffers, surely not him, but the child and yes as far as I'm concerned it is a living foundation to a child regardless of the month......But it's a never ending argument...which has its pros and cons, and as long as it continues to be legal who am I to say otherwise, but I'll keep voting against it as is my right......

While I most certainly empathize for your loss for children who were wanted and didn't make it, I don't see it as the same thing.

As far as what I quoted above, no one single person creates or brings into existence an idea. Thomas Edison wasn't the only person working towards electricity, Darwin wasn't the only one who thought of evolutionary theory. Their names just became the most popular because they managed to get published first. Medicine doesn't come around by a single individual. There are many people working on ideas, and there's certainly enough in the news of multiple groups of people, seeming to come out with an invention or new medicine the world over.

So 2 questions and not just for you specifically, of course. If there was a chemical birth control for men, would you take it?

If, in order to save the life of a fetus, and science was such that you could carry a baby to term, would you?

If the one was really needed..would not have been the one terminated. As much as some feel how wrong this is... and as much as some feel this child is to be here...well, God must have needed the child more!

Personally I don't believe in birth control, but if I couldn't support a child or it was a mutual agreement to wait, then yes

without a doubt and proudly, but not when I played basketball or boxed:)

Correct...but if she decided to have sex with this guy with out using any kind of birth control, including forcing him to use a condom, then its still bad judgement on her part and therefore should not be using an abortion for birth control.

I'm not saying that the guy isnt at fault. He should be part of that childs life and if not he should be paying child support.

If the chemical was safer and more reliable than condoms then yes, i would give it thought. But...I'd still use a condom to fight agaisnt STD's.

If it were my own child...then yes, I would.

Now that I am safe...I am for em.

Besides...I will never figure out those new fangled birth control techniques like "pulling out".

Seriously people......what friggen business is it of other peoples what you do with YOUR body?

And what business is it of YOURs what other people do?

Please circle the correct answer.....

1. no bodies business
2. only God got the right to judge
3. I am self righteous and religious/political so my opinion is more valid than anyone elses.
