 I hope everyone doesn't have to have GOOD ENGLISH,
Because I flaunt english badly,,,,,,,,,lol
Take me as IAM,,,,,,,,Or cast me into the vowel scrapyard.lol

Terry -- I have never seen a post of yours that I couldn't understand! And believe me, I've read a LOT of your posts....!

OK, so sometimes you get a little "creative" with your efforts, but that's a good thing, right??

 Ahhh, Lex, thanks man. I appreciate that, and YOU. I have met and had alot of people here, well, ok,lol..GUYS, have typing issues and or spelling issues and I try to see them, and help them.
BEFORE they get disgruntled and leave.
Because THEY came here to HELP their selves from how their world really is...And then to come here and have THE SAME issues that they might get in person??
Well, I wouldn't want to be here myself..
And When I fisrt came on here, I had to have a websters beside me for almost ALL my little simple words typed here, lol
Now beacause of using them all the time, I have retained a bunch, and lol I lost my websters, lol, lol
So I NOW type by sounding everything out, but because GROWING I had a speech impediment,,sometimes SIMPLE sounds,,go right over my head.
AS I pronounced them wrong all my life, even though my speech NOW is PERFECT...
My Daughter has laughed many a times at what I THOUGHT was the RIGHT pronoucing of a word, like 'hole', 'whole' I have ALWAYS pronounced it HO,,,,,,,,,thats it,,,,,,,HO, covered BOTH of them, lol
But I NEVER HEARD IT,,,lol When my daughter pointed it out,,,I thought about it,,laughed and said,,,DAMM, im 50, and JUST NOW catching that I done that, lol, lol

No, contrary to what some would have to believe, proper language skills is not a requirement to post in the forums, but I know for a fact some folks do not feel welcome to post in the forums because they have been made to feel it is a requirement and I think that it is unfortunate that we have sent that message.

Personally, as I've tried to point out, I think tolerance is a far better quality to possess than proper language. I would hate to think I have overlooked some very wonderful qualities in someone because I couldn't get passed a misspelled or mis-used word, or missed punctuation mark.

so, will you be tolerant of our intolerance?bigsmile

Not if it does not fall within the guidelines of the forum rules and/or I discover it has made someone feel unwelcome to post here.

So don't thro tedy bares in the korner ore at thos of us hoo rnt as eduoocatid as others. bigsmile

well, folks shouldn't get all pissy when they get called out. if you know you have probs, then expect someone to say something.

I have horrible spelling, I know this, I expect people to joke and kid, and to them I reply with either a joke about me... or one about them...I'm not going to get pissy because.....Why? I'M A CRAPPY SPELLER. I know this about me. I have come to terms with it.

Typos are fine, sometimes you are in a heated debate, or are just to lazy to check it.... Oh well.

If someone points out your mistake.... either laugh or go on about your business.... IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS.... And if you get pissy about it..... Well it needed corrected... PERIOD.

Boohoo, they picked on me because I have poor language skills... Well now I'm going to pick on you because you are a crybaby about it too.... Which is worse???

But lilbug, it isn't just one misspelled word, or missed punctuation mark. We all do that, every one of us. And some people, doubtless, are more skilled in the use of the language than others. But I have seen things that were pretty much incoherent. It is as if they typed a stream of random letters on a page and expected us to do the work to try and decipher what they mean. Wouldn't you want to be told if you were doing that? I would.

YOU would, THEY may not and they may not care what you or I think, that's THEIR choice. Personally, I have not seen a post I cannot decipher and if I did, I'd just move on.

i would just move on to.

in my opinion, who gives a ****e happy

your spelling may be poor but your communication skills are fantastic. You manage to make every post CRYSTAL CLEAR.

Your spelling in no way inhibits my ability to understand you. Some others...I can't say the same for them.

This applies to both, those who dont know or chose not to express their thoughts clearly and to those that request clarification. Just because "I" ask for someone to clarify something "I" dont understand, is not belittling nor embarrassing the OP or other member "I" ask for clarification. It means just that "I" didnt understand.

I guess it depends on how someone asks them, some people are nice enough to say, can you please clarify, while others are downright rude and says things like, did you go to grammar school, spelling and grammar is not your strength, etc...
