Are there any men out here that truly want a committed, eventually leading to marriage committement or do most guys just want a companion and girl friend when its time to go have some fun?

I emailed my friend with your question and she emailed me back with this....
the GSD I had before MoJo, was afflicted with Degenerative Myleopathy. I thought at first he had arthritus maybe in his hips...but it was DM....I put him on the vitamin regime proposed by Dr. Clemmons at the Univ. of Florida, and saw a lot of improvment at first.....I think it probably extended his life by maybe 6 months. It was his shoulders that took the real beating from the loss of strength in his hind quarters....DM isn't painful...but the parts of the body that have to carry the weight seem to wear out.... I used to carry him by his tail....he wanted to go do horses so bad, so I'd hold up his tail and give him balance....It was exhausting, but worth it.....he was a great dog. |

I am not one to share terribly personal things on here...this one has me stumped, and just curious to hear what some of you think. I had to leave town last weekend, not go to far, about 6 hours way. So I'm thinking there is a friend on here who lives there, and I'll call and see if we can meet up...casual meeting no big mushy thing. We have been friendly, no hot emails, long conversations, nothing like that. So we talk and arrange to meet up when I get to town..got there right at the time I thought I would. I call both his numbers, and leave messages and a cell number to call back.... A few hours later I need to head home and never heard from him, still haven't heard what happened...why he never called, if something happened. I have only ever met one from here and we are friends. I thought it would be kinda cool to actually meet mingle people like so many have done. Ya know, new friends if nothing else... Not understanding what happened or why...weird I think.  Dude had something to hide

I had posted last night a couple post about a kennel in my area to NOT go to and it was deleted because I gave their name in an open forum, which is against policy and I will respect that, but I was told if I wanted to private message anyone with info I can, so I am posting this to anyone who is looking for a boarding kennel/groomer for their dog in my area, please email me privately and I will discuss with you which place to NOT go to....they are horrible! (First hand experience)

does anyone know about a disease in German Shepherds called Degenerative Myelopathy where it starts in back legs, dog goes down, can't get up, travels up spine, attacks front legs, and settles in brain stem... 
[/quote I will check my book on it and see what I can find, I also have a friend who owns German Shepherds, I will ask her if she knows of anything. In the meantime, try to google it, maybe you can find out something.. |
