Wait for her to make the decision and whatever it is support her in it even if it is not the way you wanted it. You're young enough that even if she decides to move away you will have plenty of time to find someone else that is just adorable. If you look before you know you need to, you might just end up shooting yourself in your foot and screwing up any chance you might have had.

Yep, what they said. Although, if you really feel like pursuing it just come out and ask her straight up what it takes to get on her "sweetie" list. Who knows, she might just need a pulse and some gas money :). This will serve two purposes.

1. It will put it out in the open that your interested.

2. It will let you know if she is interested or not cause if she isn't she will either avoid the question or tell you "no chance". If she is, she will provide direction. (not to be confused with "erection").

I try not to make enemies with my ex's. Life's a lot easier when you don't burn a lot of bridges behind you. Even the one that really did me wrong, I was pretty torc'd for a good while but as time went by I started feeling more sorry for her than upset about what she did to me. I kind of have the belief that everything happens for a reason and she was just a tool to help guide me where I am now. I'm better off now than I ever have been and I wonder what it would have been like if that never happened. Maybe it was the best thing that could have happened....? I don't talk to her or anything (mostly because I don't know where she is and don't really care) but if I did I would help her out if she needed it. There's a certain amount of pride for being big enough to not hang on to history and let it control you.

Oh that was bad......

My first ever real job was working for the U.S. Forest Service building hiking trails and fire fighting. We would pack in around 12 miles (with all the food, clothing, shelter, everything) and camp for 10 days. Every couple of days, you have to pack up and move the camp further down the trail you just made so it's not no long to get to where the current work is going on at. For the most part, it was pretty cool. The work was hard and very physical intensive, but you got to see a lot of nice scenery and camp out. On the down side, you got sick of eating noodles and dehydrated foods because they are light and easier to pack in. Thunder storms would trigger lightning strike fires and we would have to hike to the fire, put it out, dig a trench around it, and sit with it all night to make sure it didn't pop up somewhere else.

This thread sounds suspiciously along the same lines as, "If you don't know what's wrong, then I'm not going to tell you".

It's snowing here now. They say we will have some accumulation by this afternoon :(
