It was a good laugh.I think the writer forgot the trillions in debt Obama has given the American people which is nearly a all time record.Obama reminds me of a 16 year old Paris hilton with a purse full of credit cards.Charge everything and throw the credit card statements in the garbage can.Whats a measly $13,000,000,000,000?Spend,spend,spend and spend some more.Recession?Spend, spend, spend some more.I suppose if we took Obama's ideas when we go broke we should go spend, spend, and max out our credit cards. We can spend our way out of debt!

Give Obama a darwin award. He needs it.

what in the bible displays why it's either a book of fables, fact, fakery, forklore or fantasy

when presenting a passage or whatever to present your point of view as being "fact"..please include an explanation that doesn't sound delusional along with proof that it is fact...if not then that places it into the category of fantasy

I would respond but knowing you are going to argue and deny every word I say I would rather not waste my time.

Shall I predict that no evidence will be presented to show the correlation with religion?

Correlations: An examination of events which highly correlate the so-called Religious Right organizations to Christian values which have created an oppressive and dangerous environment for the youth of today.

Let me begin with:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXAQKuBwESc

Sarah Silverman – Message To America – On Gay Suicide. Dear, America. When you tell Gay Americans that they can’t serve their country openly, or marry the person that they love, your telling that to kids too. Don’t be ‘f….ingshocked and wonder where all these bullies are coming from that are torching young kids and driving them to kill themselves because they’re different. They learned it from watching you.

NOM - National Organization for Marriage Gathering Storm TV Ad

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp76ly2_NoI

MAGGIE GALLAGHER FOUNDED NOM IN 2007
In a book entitled “The Abolition of Marriage,” Gallagher equates same-sex marriage with adultery: “…American family law has been rewritten to dilute both the right and the obligations of marriage, while at the same time placing other relationships, from adulterous liaisons to homosexual partnerships, on a legal par with marriage…”

June 15, 1998 – Senate Majority Leader, Trent Lott in an interview with radio talk show host Armstrong Williams
After answering the question of homosexuality being a sin, Lott said

Yeah it is. You should still love that person. You should not try to mistreat them or treat them as outcasts. You should try to show them a way to deal with that problem, just like alcohol, sex addiction, or kleptomanics. There are all kinds of problems, addictions, difficulties, experiences of things that are wrong, but you should try to work with that person to learn to control that problem…

The “problem” is inequality, not an addiction, not a disease, or a mental illness. But it is publicized widely in demeaning ways that homosexuality is a ‘problem’ something to be CURED – and a huge religiously funded public campaign promoting so-called "reparative therapy" flooded the media, churches and communities and continues 12 years later. – Can ya feel the love?

Also 1998 –
Dr. Robert Garofalo, a Boston pediatrician who authored a health study of gay teens last spring, complained to the Boston Globe that the recent ad campaign, was "a complete misrepresentation" of his research on substance abuse and other high-risk behavior. Garofalo told the Globe he believes the disproportionate risk of gay youth for substance abuse and suicide are the result of alienation gay teenagers face in a "culture that is often unaccepting." Religious Right groups attributed the problems to homosexuality itself, which Garofalo calls "the complete opposite conclusion of what the paper actually concluded."

An intentional misrepresentation of studies and research has been rampant by church authorities and powerful anti-gay Christian groups. Although the unethical and immoral messages are openly disputed by those whose work has been plagiarized, that is never what Christians remember. The misinformation is continually regurgitating by ‘Christians’ as authoritative support for their prejudicial views, long after its falsehood is proven. The more widely this misinformation is used and promoted by church authorities, the greater the belief that prejudice and discrimination are not only warranted by Christians but a requirement of their doctrine.

In 1998 - Christians falsely, and knowing better, “ equated homosexuality with pedophilia. The Family Research Council's Bob Knight falsely asserted that the Employment Non Discrimination Act would extend legal protections to pedophiles. Parents are told that gays and lesbians are out to molest their children. Gay rights groups are falsely accused of supporting legalization of pedophilia, when in fact every major gay organization denounces it as criminal.

"...one of the primary goals of the homosexual rights
movement is to abolish all age of consent laws and to eventually recognize pedophiles as the 'prophets' of a new sexual order." -
"Homosexual Activists Work to Normalize Sex With Boys," FRC publication, July 1999, http://www.frc.org/misc/bl057.pdf <<<<

>>>"homosexuals are included in a list of sinners, who, if unrepentant, will not inherit the kingdom of God." - Family Research Council press release about Matt Shepard's funeral, on the day of the funeral, October 16, 1998, http://www.frc.org/press/101698.html. The release implied that a gay person who had not yet become, or tried to become, an "ex-gay" was "unrepentant."<<<<

>>>"Homosexuals have never been forced to sit in the back of the bus. They are as privileged a group as any. To compare their attempts to affirm deviant sexual conduct to the legitimate discrimination claims of true minorities is a sham," said FRC Director of Cultural Studies Robert H.
Knight - FRC's CultureFacts, July 28, 1999, http://www.frc.org/culture/cu99g4.html<<<

>>>"homosexual behavior is extremely unhealthy, contributing to the spread of AIDS, hepatitis A, B and C and other sexually transmitted diseases….A study of more than 6,400 obituaries in homosexual publications reveals that homosexuals typically have far shorter life spans than the general population. Other reports indicate that homosexuals are more likely to have drug and alcohol abuse problems. It is unfair to force businesses to pay the extra insurance expense and lost productivity that inevitably results from homosexual behavior." [Editors note: the source for this "research" is the discredited Dr. Paul Cameron - see below for extensive information about his extreme beliefs]

- Robert Knight, Family Research Council, testifying at ENDA Hearings, July 29, 1994 - committee on Labor and Human Resources, US Senate.

Christians today still quote from totally discredited Cameron who even lost his standing with American Psychological Association and his reputation among his peers.

A host of Religious Right leaders, including D. James Kennedy, Gary Bauer, James Dobson (Focus on the Family), Beverly LaHaye (Concerned Women for America), Don Wildmon (American Family Association), and Richard Land (Southern Baptists) signed an open letter, printed as a newspaper ad, attacking American Airlines. Gary Bauer's claim that the airline's anti-discrimination policies somehow actively promoted discrimination against religious employees were so ridiculous that the airline's own Christian employees' organization disavowed it. American Airlines officials met with Religious Right leaders but rejected demands that they discontinue marketing to the gay community.

Poisonous message
In 1997 the Religious Right acted as the single, loudest voice promoting intolerance against gays and lesbians. Religious Right leaders like Pat Robertson (Christian Coalition Founder), Gary Bauer (Family Research Council), Beverly LaHaye (Concerned Women for America), and Jerry Falwell used all the pulpits available to them – including TV, radio, direct mail, and the internet – to spread the poisonous message that hatred of gays and lesbians is not only acceptable, it is required of "godly" people.

The Christian Coalition's Randy Tate contributed to the major Christian campaign which continues to embrace the message of “love the sinner, hate the sin”. This campaign message of, ‘love’ but not accept thy neighbor, found refuge with huge portions of Christians who were suffering the effects of cognitive dissonance from previous hate message campaigns. The wide acceptance by Christians emulates to near perfection how church authorities manipulate the masses. Exemplified in the quote below is representation of how ‘love’ and ‘compassion’ can be turned into acceptance and enforcement of discriminatory policy.

"I think that as Americans, and particularly as a person of faith, that we need to extend Christian charity to all individuals. That doesn't mean in the public policy realm that we need to extend special privileges to individuals based on their private sexual behavior."
— Hardball with Chris Matthews, August 11, 1998

http://www.cwfa.org/articles/19257/MEDIA/family/index.htm
Prop 8 Case strikes at the heart of democracy 2010

“Citizens of California voted to uphold marriage because they understood the sacred nature of marriage and that homosexual activists use same-sex ‘marriage’ as a political juggernaut to indoctrinate young children in schools to reject their parent’s values and to harass, sue and punish people who disagree.

I end where I bagan, with what Sarah said so well.

Ahhh,Red. I know you mean well, but you missed the point of my post entirely. I really didn't think that my words were that clouded, unless one takes them out of context or paraphrases.

MiddleEarthling's OP only "supported" his already biggoted viewpoint in his mind. There still has been no correlation established between those reported suicides and Religion.

Would you have used his quoted source in support of the topic if you read this statement???
"And if he was straight he likely wouldn't have contemplated -- not to mention successfully accomplished -- his own suicide by jumping off the George Washington Bridge."

This isn't the first time he's done this either. Now I'm afraid you spoon-fed a bible-thumping Atheist information that may promote his anti-religion bigotry, while not encouraging him to think for himself. But then again, that may be your agenda too....

I certainly may have misread, it was quite late when I read though this thread and I apologize if you or anyone here felt my post was a direct accusation on any single individual in these threads.

I was just attempting to address with facts, what I thought was the subject.

Hoewever, I hope that those who read it can see a broader message about group think and about 'community'. That community which creates the BEST environment for children and adults is a community in which every member is equally valued for their contribution and their character and not based on what a moral directive that a self-proclaimed authority figure has decided it should mean.

No I would not have used the source in the OP. But I still agree with at least one message it brings - that there IS correlation between the suicide rate of kids, especially homosexuals and religion.

Those who will say that bullying has always gone on, that all kids are bullied, it's a part of life you learn to deal with it, are making excuses. And furthermore, when you hear the verbalizations of kids bullying suspected or known homosexual kids, it is not because it part of some "acceptible" normal ritual rather, it comes from the discrimination they see around them. Also, I can't imagine why any person in their right mind would 'accept' their child beeing tortured, harrassed, and bullied for years and say to the kid - "it's ok, it happens, you'll get over it."

But listen to those same people sing a different story when that bullying comes from GANG affilation. How do they think gangs get started?

It's difficult in a forum, such as this, to demonstrate completely the connection. There is 30 years of history from which my conclusions where made, I only went back to 1990's and I only gave a tiny sample of the support behind my opinion.

Good grief I can't believe I am reading this kinda of stuff from adults.I can only imagine you some of you must have lived some extremly sheltered lives from the real world safely tucked under mommy and daddies wing.

Everyone is going to get harrassed, bullied, and insulted in school no matter who you are.I could probably write a novel on all the names, insults and harrasment I dealed with going through school.I was once expelled from a public school for simply having long hair.Yet you don't hear me crying a river. You don't see me jumping off a bridge just like the millions of others who have to deal with this crap.

What you and others seem to constantly fail to realize is Christianity is a very big part of many peoples lives who feel lost with out it.There is no doubt that Christianity more than anything else has stopped a lot of gays who were going to kill themselves but stopped because they went to church or converted to Christianity.I also don't feel like gays are going to kill themselves because Christians are living in the United states.

Since you won't accept it or acknowledge it I will say it again.Christians are the majority in this country and every law, bill, and statute passed to help the gays were passed by Christians. You cite California's no vote on gay marriage yet you seem to be blind to the fact it was nearly a tie.A large number of Christians were voting yes on the other half(even though they shouldn't be doing so).You can say it was all Atheist but I say BS since Atheist only make up less than 10% of the population and not everyone of them will vote for gay marriage.

Your nauseating quotes from various people is totally useless in here. They are totally useless because it is someones opinion from people nobody has heard of and nobody cares about.Who cares? For every 100 posts you give I can give you 100 more from Christians that are pro gay. It's nothing but a waste of time.

I think you start to backing up some of your non sense with facts.I don't believe for a second that gays are committing suicide because of Christianity.Show me some statistics.Christians are not going to stop someone from being gay.

You should read about Obama's father. He is a real work of art.He was married to 4 different women and had children by all of them.He skipped out and abandon 3 of his wives and their kids. Was a alcoholic who killed a man in a drunk driving accident.A second drunk driving accident cost him both of his legs.

For those interested here are some Atheist Charities for you.

Atheist Charities
Posted Wednesday, December 05, 2007 by Techskeptic

This is the season of giving, as they say. There are a lot of religions who use this time of year for reflection, charity and general goodwill. I dont see why atheists can't also use this time of year to be benevolent. Any time of year is good of course, but personally I find winter solstice to be one of the most uplifting days of the year, so why not?

I've been asked often why there aren't any atheist charities. Of course, as usual, people are just presuming or parroting things they heard. Of course there are atheist charities. And like in my videos post, I am considering charities that do not promote a specific religion to be an atheist charity.

I found most of these at the Internet Infidels discussion board (and copied descriptive text from there, apologies if that was a problem). But I thought a nice list would be better, plus I added a few more. There are useful sites like CharityNavigator to help you sort through all the charities out there. If there are comments proposing ones that I missed (and surely there are plenty), I will add them to this list, if they are highly rated (not that all of these are). So here goes:

UPDATE 2009: I apologize for not refreshing this list. No time this year. Please feel free to leave some more a-theist charities for me to include in future versions in the comments. Please read the comments for more and add your own! I know there are more good secular charities out there that I have missed. I also recommend donating so some of the excellent critical thinking podcasts out there.

The majority of what you are mentioning are not charities but legal originations who are not working for everyone but catering to a specific group of people.People like the ACLU do not work for free. They are not volunteers. They are no different than any other paid lawyers and hardly a charity.A great deal of what you presented are dozens of countries coming together for a common cause. What does this have to do with Atheist charities?Anything with the United nations(which many mention the UN)can't possibly be considered Atheist since the majority of countries in the UN are Christian majority countries.

Since you obviously just cut and copied from some stupid anti Christian website with out reading you would realize that groups catering to a specific group of people(such as gays, and Atheist)are not working for the good of everyone and are formed to have a negative agenda against Christianity.Once again this is hardly a charity.

I checked into a few of your larger so called Atheist charities I have heard of.I didn't find any that said they were found by Atheist or were Atheist related. One was dead wrong.

hell as i have stated in another post the qur'an has moses as a muslim, actually the first muslim.funny thing though with moses in any religion, how did abraham play a part in the three religions...muslim,christianity and judism?this even makes it even funnier if abraham came from a sumerian city called UR,then how in the hell did god say adam and eve were the first in his torah he gave moses?

The Holy bible is the only true bible. The Old testament has hundreds of predictions that were fulfilled. What does the quran have?Nothing.Islam hijacked parts of the Old testament and wrote their own twisted, warped book. The fact Islam mentions Jesus Christ only makes the case for Christianity stronger. You have 3 billion plus who believe Jesus Christ was who he said he is,and another 1.5 billion from another religion who acknowledge he was a real person. The Holy bible does not acknowledge any other religion or the people they speak about.

cowboy let your god explain gravitational singularity

let your god tell me how fast the event horizon around a blackhole is going...did he guess 3,000,000 miles per hour

let your god explain how a pulsar is so dense that spoonfuls weight is in the tons

let your god explain the theory of relativity by einstien

let your god explain that if gravitional singularity wasn't real then how did he become...oh here comes the frat house answers

also how come your god can't and didn't answer the most unanswered question ever, other planets?

also ask your god how come a proton star collapses on itself then it becomes a blackhole which in a nebula the gases and matter in it become a galaxy

let me guess it isn't important as long as we don't question him,but i did and nothing

Why would i ask him any of that? None of that is of any importance whatsoever.
so as i stated once before don't question him just accept that he is the creator, never ask how he created what he/she/it created

Why don't you read the first book of Genesis?God tells us why he created what he did and why.

it seems to solve or define any such matter, one would have to clearly define "sin", but if and how can this be possible, for it was so VERY CLEARLY written, "what be sin for ONE, be not sin for another"?

for it as well state, "let him without sin cast the FIRST STONE".

did not SAY TO NOT CAST A STONE?

so, they "feared jesus", since they thought he was "god", and so "their own guilt", or fear of their own "lacking" being exposed, MADE THEM NOT JUDGE THE PROSTITUTE?

and walk away?

so, THAT WHICH HATH GUILT, BE AFRAID OF "GOD", OR WHAT REPRESENT "AUTHORITY", SO BE AFRAID TO JUDGE WHAT BE HARMFUL BEHAVIOUR TO ANOTHER HUMAN BEING?

awh, but the very belief's have come to have having to do with what be actual "caring" about human's or humankind.

such has always been the case since the inception of human existence, and why the strong delusion that "to judge" be a "sin", when any free place, or happy place, or place without chaos, could not exist without exercising GOOD JUDGEMENT...

even when "jesus" defended a prostitute, a "****ING SINNER", all pun inteded, he made sure not to tell anyone NOT TO JUDGE, but himself DID NOT JUDGE HER, for WHAT BODILY HARM HAD SHE INFLICTED UPON ANOTHER HUMAN, as she was but a believer in MUTUAL CONSENT OF CONSENTING ADULTS, and thus why "jesus" did not condem her...

he knew the TRUE VIPER'S, the HATER'S, were the GUILTY, for why was she "guilty", for NOT BEING SATISFIED WITH HER HUSBAND, for who look for anonther, THAT BE GIVEN ALL IT NEED, OR WANT?

hum...

That be an interesting take on that story.

Did not the laws of man declare that both parties be stoned to death?

Did they not claim to catch her "in the act"?

Why then, did they not bring the man too?

Was that man one of them?

Did they think Jesus was God?

Or merely a heretical rabbi?

Did Jesus judge her? Yes he did, and told her to "sin no more"....

That is exactly right. If you would do some research on the stoning issue it is actually quite complex. You had to have at least two witness's.Both the man and the woman would be arrested. Then the two guilty people stood trial in front of the high priests and witness's.If the two people were found guilty both the man and the woman were to be put to death at the hands of the two people who witnessed them(who often objected along with many members of the church). If they were to be executed they were thrown off a large cliff. If they survived the fall the two witness would throw large rocks down at them.Despite this being a law you will only find one instance of a man being stoned in the bible and it is for a Christian in the New testament being stoned by a bunch of Jews for blasphemy.Repentance of sins and forgiveness would save you a death sentence for adultery and other sins which is why you never read stories of people being stoned.

In any case the man who brought this woman broke many rules including not bringing the man she was having sex with and not allowing a court trial.

Jesus did judge this woman because he said "he who is with out sin may cast the first stone".He did not say she was not guilty. He did not say do not stone or judge this woman. He did not say the stoning law was irrelevant, null, and void.He simply was saying all have sinned(which the penalty is death)and all have been sparred by forgiveness.Like peter said he also said "Sin no more" which is a second conformation that he did judge and acknowledge her adultery.

...like I said ALL members of a society

Keep preaching brother a HUMAN is a HUMAN no matter what race color or where he comes from. We need to be the example for the rest of the world and help out the people in need even if they are not from this country

It's that frame of thought that has resulted in a 40 dollar aspirin at the hospital.17 million illegals racking up billions in hospital bills with no insurance and walking out giving the tax payer the middle finger.Maybe if we didn't have a tens of millions of freeloaders with no insurance who pay taxes we could get a 10 cent aspirin since the hospitals wouldn't be paying billions in free medical care.

Kind of ironic and stupid they have spent years on this health care debate and have not spent a single day figuring out why it cost's 35,000 dollars for simple surgery.I think anyone with a brain would question why everything is so expensive and start from there.Yet the idiots in our government just want to put millions of people in to this system with out addressing the 40 dollar aspirin and the 90 dollar box of tissues. slaphead

OK, How about this one, "How do you feel about the millions who died becasue of you in your name?"
"How do you feel about the wars and genocide in your name?"
"Why is it right to pray in your name when we are supposed to have no other Gods?"
"What honestly makes you any better than me?"

How are those for questions for Jesus here and now?

Matthew 5:10 Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Matthew 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

There are no Wars or genocide in Jesus's name. There is no justification for starting a War as both God and Jesus command us not to kill and to forgive our enemy.

I don't see the point in praying to Gods who doesn't exist.

I think Christians are much better than any other people of any religion and much more better than Atheist.I believe this by their extremely generous support for people around the world who they have never met.Your not going to find a single Atheist charity out there.

seriously scientist have not only proved that atoms are the creators but actually went further to prove subatomic particals build even them and they can break them down even further.the difference between atheist and jesus freaks is atheist have actual people use shovels to dig for the truth, jesus freaks have a book...yet jesus freaks will say"you believe in books also"of course i do cause they actually used a shovel not a book

Scientist are probably accurate on their predictions maybe 5% or less if that.If I have learned anything from scientist I have learned that their predictions and theories are completely worthless. If they can prove with out a doubt what they speak I will believe it.

religious books are complex writings, I have seen both sides nitpick verses out of context to prove a point

here is the counter from muslims who believe christians to be hypocrites

http://www.answering-christianity.com/ac12.htm#links

both sides have determined haters who make a point of seeking out such passages, and ignoring the passages which might counter their argument,,

Christians don't call for the murder of any non believers.

extreme christians(like abortion clinic bombers or abortion doctor assasins) surely do

and one who is determined can CERTAINLY find verses in the bible that they can claim prove GOD himself did so

So what?People have killed people because they took LSD and said their cat in the corner of the room told them to do it.

This whole stupid debate bringing in Christianity is pointless. It's pointless because the Christian bible specifically commands NOT TO KILL.It specifically says to forgive and to turn the other cheek. There is no justification for killing anyone for any reason using the bible for reference. It is this reason why the 3 billion Christians in this world are not killing people all over the world on a daily basis in the name of Jesus Christ.

Islam on the other hand specifically does command to kill nonbelievers and killing in the name of Islam is justified using the Koran.A person can kill another person or many people and claim he was justified for doing so.

I have said it many times before.People worrying about getting killed by a demented Christian is the last thing they are worried about.I think the odds of someone being killed by a demented Christian using the bible for justification is probably about 300 million to one.

How Religion Is Killing Our Most Vulnerable Youth

An increasingly popular bumper sticker reads, "Guns Don't Kill People -- RELIGION Kills People!" In light of recent events I would add religion kills young people: gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender young people.

Perhaps not directly, though. And religion is certainly not the only source of anti-gay sentiment in the culture. But it's hard to deny that religious voices denouncing LGBT people contribute to the atmosphere in which violence against LGBT people and bullying of LGBT youth can flourish.

The news is filled with the tragedies of teenaged boys who were gay and decided to end their living hell by committing suicide. Maybe they weren't even gay, but merely perceived to be by their peers, who harassed, taunted, and threatened them unmercifully.

These were real kids with real names. Asher Brown, an eighth grader in Texas, shot himself in the head after endless bullying by classmates and despite attempts by his parents to get school authorities to take his harassment seriously. Seth Walsh hung himself from a tree in his California backyard after relentless bullying by classmates. Asher and Seth were 13-years-old.

Billy Lucas, a 15-year-old high school freshman from Indiana, was only perceived to be gay. But the unrelenting bullying ended with him taking his own life. Seven students in one Minnesota school district have taken their own lives, including three teens.

With the exception of Brown in Texas these suicides are not happening in Bible Belt regions of the country, where we might predict a greater-than-usual regard for religious thought. Instead, they are occurring in states perceived to be more liberal on LGBT issues: California, Minnesota, New Jersey, and Rhode Island.

The case of Tyler Clementi is especially instructive about how far we have to go in accepting our gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender children. Clementi was an 18-year-old freshman at Rutgers University whose roommate secretly filmed a sexual encounter he had with another male student and then posted it on the internet.

Think about it. If Tyler had been heterosexual and instead filmed having sex with his girlfriend, it would still be an inappropriate invasion of his privacy and tasteless to post the video online. And it certainly would have been embarrassing for Tyler and the girl. But chances are he would have been the recipient of some congratulatory remarks from friends about what a stud he was. And if he was straight he likely wouldn't have contemplated -- not to mention successfully accomplished -- his own suicide by jumping off the George Washington Bridge.

No, Tyler was a victim -- not of an inner disturbance of depression or mental illness--but of an external and in part religiously inspired disdain and hatred of gay people.

Despite the progress we're making on achieving equality under the law and acceptance in society for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people, why this rash of bullying, paired with self-loathing, ending in suicide? With humility and heartfelt repentance I assert that religion -- and its general rejection of homosexuality -- plays a crucial role in this crisis.

Religious Right hatemongers and crazies are spewing all sorts of venom and condemnation, all in the name of a loving God. The second-highest-ranking Mormon leader, Boyd K. Packer, recently called same-sex attraction "impure and unnatural" in an act of unspeakable insensitivity at the height of this rash of teen suicides. He declared that it can be cured, and that same-sex unions are morally repugnant and "against God's law and nature."

Funny I don't remember how any of these deaths were in any way related to Christianity or members of a church.Blaming Christians for these deaths has nothing to do with anything. What is your big mouth going to say if I told you the people that set up these cameras were Atheist?

Tsk,Tsk,Tsk.
can you prove they were atheist, along with your god and messiah

Ha, they don't need anymore than their faith and their book to cling to. These are cowards who will not face facts..face life. It's overwhelming the hatred that comes from the religious right wing nut-baggery. Just the ignorances are enough to poison a society then their "messengers" who taunt gays and others for the way they were born add to the demise of a civil and just society.

I for one will not accept hate groups like churches that preach hate and ignorances that harm people. I also don't accept these "not me" Christians who then turn a blind eye to their leader's words and actions.

THIS is how people like Hitler and the Dippic were supported into power...ALL from Christians who think they are doing "god's work".

If your quotes are good for anything they are good for a laugh.I think you should look a the countries where gays are the most free to live their lives they way they want to and where they are most happy. It is hardly a secret that the countries where gays are most happy and free are overwhelmingly Christian countries not Atheist countries where they are the most prosecuted.

It is also no secret that Christians have held a majority on voting issues since this country was formed.Gays are allowed to live free and do what they like because of laws and bills passed by Christians not Atheist. It wouldn't matter if all the Atheist in America vote yes or no on a bill it wouldn't make a bit of difference.

If the gays had any brains they would be thanking the Christians for their tolerance towards the gays and acceptance.Atheist and Muslim countries have no tolerance and often put gays to death when they are found.

lol...

not a mushroom round be found, lol...

indeed abra, such hath not been created yet, but spring break hath not arrived, lol...

if one sip cold water, doth it judge the water to be cold?

if one walk outside, doth it judge the temperature?

the human brain judges everything?

if it did not, IT WOULD BE INSANE?

so, since "they" try NOT TO JUDGE, unsanity ensue?

it didnt say, "DO NOT JUDGE"!

it added to it MORE....

to create a QUESTION?

to create a philosophical dilemma?

again, who that does not wished to be judged, hath any self correcting ability?

human's are self correcting entities?

THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE RIGHT?

awh, but they atre becoming so less each day, for the very notion of that if one declare or stand for justice, it's own "sins" will be held against it?

but that which makes it own behaviour as NOT OK, hath judged itself, SO THEN NO REASON FOR GOD TO JUDGE IT?

it hath become an adult, SELF CORRECTING ITSELF, BY RECOGNIZING AND HEEDING ANY NEGATIVE PULSE IN IT'S BODY ABOUT IT'S OWN BEHAVIOUR OR WORDS?

so, self judge itself?

self hit wall, self judge that hurt?

self's judgement then created knowing?

furthermore, the text ALSO decalre, "to judge all things"?

BUT IT IS THOUGHT IT COMMAND, ***DO NOT JUDGE***???

lol...

it said BOTH, ON PURPOSE, TO MAKE SELF MAKE THE CHOICE, OR FOR SELF TO BE THE 'JUDGE'...

to not judge anything, lol...

unsanity, which indeed is what shall be created more each day for the poor sucker's whom subscribe to such, AGAIN, ONLY TRAPPED INTO SUCH BECAUSE THEY SEEK GOOD FOR SELF, OR A FREE PASS ON ANY CONSEQUENCE OF THEIR OWN ACTIONS.

do not judge, lol...

that would mean no human action would be judged as "good or bad"?

so, any human action would BE ACCESSED AS GOOD, NO MATTER WHAT IT WAS?

lol...

that would mean child molestation WOULD NOT BE JUDGED AS "NOT GOOD"?

but, the book says NOTHING ABOUT NOT MOLESTING A CHILD, SO IT MUST BE OK, OR GOOD?

the book give "two sides" of every coin, on purpose, to allow the reader's "motive" to decide it's own action's?

"give unto ceaser what be ceaser's"?

the law is ceaser's is it not?

but, the law once said, ok to enslave blacks and burn witches?

so, these that did not ensalve blacks, and burn witches, broke a "commandment"?

all the words in the book, are for the pupose of "actually creating false motive", to carry mankind thru "false motive" into "pure motive"....

so they would actually be able to recognize what false motive was...

there are only to root first motives that create all things into existence...

either self motive, or total motive of good for other's before self...

there is no in between, to get to enlightenment, or freedom of mind.

the brain actually filter data, as it pass thru the mind, thru either self motive, or motive of good for others more?

hence the saying, "a house divided against ITSELF, cannot stand"?

whats the "house"?

the human brain.

what be the divide?

self, or good for other's?

human's being torn between the two?

self motive define all things thru HOW WILL THIS EFFECT ME?

"others best" motive, define thru "how will this effect them"

so, all data, seen or heard within TOTAL environment, BE FIRST FILTERED THRU THE BRAIN VIA "HOW DOTH THIS EFFECT ME"?

A NATUTRAL OCCURENCE, to bring to a later FILTER OF "HOW WILL THIS EFFECT THEM"?

IF ANYTHING READ A BOOK, AND READ IT THRU "HOW WILL THIS EFFECT OTHER'S", there will be a TOTALLY DIFFERENT INTERPRETATION THAT READING IT THRU "HOW WILL THIS EFFECT ME"?

the natural inclination is to try to do BOTH, OR SOME GOOD FOR SELF, AND SOME GOOD FOR "OTHERS", OR BE DIVIDED?

as the population increase, the intensity of accumulative collective human energy increase, therefore making the DIVIDE, OR BI-POLAR MORE PRONOUNCED.

the only escape in the end, will be "true motive of other's first"...

hence "the first shall become as last"?

as the "self motive" declare itself FIRST....

first to get good, have good, have heaven, have forgiveness, have absolution, have have have...

so these shall fall prey to all manner of mental disorder's, to reduce to need of forsaking self good, for common good instead, thus then NEW BRAIN FILTER BASICALLY...

all data is heard differently then...

this be the actual escape hatch from all things that planet earth will create itself, as the cosmos begins to position itself for the passing away of night and day, for spring break, or paradise on earth, but none gets out the hatch, until it wants to push al other's thru ahead of itself, thus creating "world love"...

for indeed, the minds of ALL man are all recieving "first thought", or they would not BE ALIVE...

yes, it appears as though breath CREATE LIFE, but FIRST "thought" induce the BODY TO BREATH...

even so, all things that hath breath are of god, and always were, no matter what it may appear this moment...'

that which has been the most evil, will be the first to become enlightened, not the other way around as religion so wishes to believe for themself as FIRST.

for remember, it was the 'thief', that was to be in paradise?

and it was "religion" that killed jesus.

lol...

its as if a tether as a wire is connected to each human head, just as the ambilical cord in birth, each one connected to it's own higher self, or it's master clone, self being the lessor clone of itself, and as it walk, data is filtered or defined, thru the ME motive, or "other's" motive, and all data defined thru the "me" motive as days progress, shall become increasing very misleading, as we march toward the end of the cycle.

IF ONE THINKS THINKS IN THE TRADITONAL WAY OF "GOD AND THE DEVIL", god help them....

devil, lol.....

nothing but self hearing first thoughts in it's mind, then, IF IT WANTS MOST FOR ITSELF, it shall interpret them thru this?

the "carnel mind"?

in other words, the definition of all things, BE WHAT THE FIRST MOTIVE IS, and then the human act out with physical action the definition they decided for themself.

again, ONLY "SELF MOTIVE", or self good most, RAPE, TORTURE, MOLEST, LIE, STEAL, ALL SUCH THINGS THAT "TAKE" FROM ANOTHER FOR "SELF"?

SO, THE MOST ROOT OF ALL EVIL, BE "SELF MOTIVE", OR SELF GOOD ALONE PURPOSED AS GOOD?

lol...

a way to naturally create a built in system into human's themself, to create some of darwin's theory, the strong survive...

BUT, text, or god, god only being reckoned unto 'GOOD MOTIVE', deem strong as caring for other's, or this as of stronger "character"....

so, STRONGER CHARACTER in the end actually survive and morph with the evolution of the human species....

don't worry, spring break will set all accounts in order, and those that wish not to be judged, well, not the best seat to be sitting in for the party...

any mortal with honor seeks it's own lacking with all dilligence, for if it care about any other than itself, than it wants to know how to care more, and doth not despise correction or feedback from another that sayeth "ouch".

for what seeks to find it's own error, become as wise, but that which seek to prove no error in itself, become more in error each day, unto dumb and mute of all wisdom.

that is why the

If you didn't ramble on so much, you would get a more clear response from people.

==========================================
furthermore, the text ALSO decalre, "to judge all things"?

BUT IT IS THOUGHT IT COMMAND, ***DO NOT JUDGE***???
===========================================

Never does God tell us to judge anything. It's not judging weather the water is cold, it's deciding weather it's cold. And in the same manner we are not to judge one another, for it is not us who decides if they are in the wrong or not.

Cowboy I think you are having a hard time understanding what is blind and wrongful judgment and what is righteous and biblical doc terned judgment.

You also seem to never reply to what Jesus said when he said "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment" (John 7:24).What is Jesus saying to you?He is saying
#1 Blind judgment with out facts is wrong.
#2 We are suppose to judge using righteous judgment(knowing the facts).

I am growing tired of explaining this to you as I already have no less than 5 times already. If Christians are not supposed to judge anyone for any reason what is the purpose of the bible telling us to stay away from and not to associate with adulterers, drunks, murders, homosexuals, thieves, and the hundreds of other ungodly, unholy, the bible talks about? If you truly believed Jesus was talking about not judging anyone for any reason then we would accept everyone despite how wicked they were living their lives and never reprehend them, never tell them what they were doing was biblical wrong?

Answer me this?If you saw the pastor of your church coming out of a strip club would you turn a blind eye and ignore it or would you confront the pastor and tell him what he was doing was wrong and sinful?Would Jesus turn a blind eye or scold the pastor?I know what Jesus would do and he would not ignore what he just saw.

Who was Jesus baptized by?John the baptist. Was John not using righteous judgment when he was screaming at King Herrod by telling him he was a sinner by involving himself in an adulterous relationship?Jesus didn't think so.You think Jesus would say John was a sinner for calling King herrod an adulterer? He would not because Herrod was a married man and was having a affair with his niece.Much like a court case the evidence has been presented and the party has been found guilty.

Real Christians judge and should judge anyone(especially other Christians)who are presenting themselves as ungodly, unholy, and unrepentant of their sins. This is our main duty as Christians. To educate the general public about what the bible expects of them,to explain to them what they are doing is wrong, and to avoid unholy and unrepentant sinners.

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,

'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

Jesus said "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment" (John 7:24).

"He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD" (Proverbs 17:15).

"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11).

Leviticus 19:15. "You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. But in righteousness you shall judge your neighbor."

"I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner -- not even to eat with such a person. For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore 'put away from yourselves that wicked person'" (1 Corinthians 5:9-13).

"Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge? I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren?" (1 Corinthians 6:1-5).

"And if anyone does not obey our word in this epistle, note that person and do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed. Yet do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother" (2 Thessalonians 3:14,15).

"Teach and exhort these things. If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wrangling of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself" (2 Timothy 6:2b-5).

"Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple" (Romans 16:17,18).

How the Most Misquoted Verse in the Bible
Is Destroying America

Tolerance mongers seem to have found
the one absolute truth
they are willing to live by.
How many times have you heard someone say,
"Judge not lest you be judged"?
The statement has become
the great American open-mindedness mantra
when anyone has the courage
to declare that someone else's belief,
actions or lifestyle is morally amiss.

Another form of the same non-judgmental judgment
is "that may be true for you,
but it's not true for me."
The logic behind the statement
goes something like this:
"Your truth is your truth and my truth
is my truth. We are both right,
and I hold to my opinion of truth."
The last time I checked, it was impossible
for two chairs to occupy the same space
around my dining room table, but evidently
such rules of time, space and logic
don't apply to tolerance philosophy.

Postmodernism's live-and-let-live concept
of truth argues that even two opposite
and wholly contradictory claims can both be true.
This is as stupid as saying that black and white
are the same color. Yet, it clarifies
the absurdity of the postmodernism
we are all supposed to blithely accept
as the fundamental principle by which we respond
to each other's ideas-the "please and thank-you"
of philosophical respect.

So beware. If you dare claim
that another person's truth is not,
in fact, truth but is, in fact, wrong,
you are not only being intolerant
but you are also being-Mantra forbid!-judgmental.

In his book, True for You, But Not for Me,
Paul Copan describes the fallacy in this
all too common thinking:

It has been said
that the most frequently quoted Bible verse
is no longer John 3:16
but Matthew 7:1: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged."

We cannot glibly quote this, though,
without understanding what Jesus meant.
When Jesus condemned judging,
he wasn't at all implying we should never
make judgments about anyone. After all,
a few verses later, Jesus himself
calls certain people "pigs" and "dogs" (Matt 7:6)
and "wolves in sheep's clothing" (7:15). …

What Jesus condemns is a critical
and judgmental spirit, an unholy sense of superiority.
Jesus commanded us to examine ourselves first
for the problems we so easily see in others.
Only then can we help remove the speck
in another's eye-which, incidentally,
assumes that a problem exists and must be confronted.

Those that tell you not to judge,
quoting Matthew 7:1 grossly out of context,
are often some of the most mean-spirited,
judgmental souls you could ever meet.
It's not, of course,
that they don't want anyone to judge anything
because they want very much to judge
and condemn your commitment to lovingly speak
and practice your Christian worldview.
You see how these tolerance rules work?
We must tolerate them,
but they don't have to tolerate us.
The logic is consistent, anyway.

Today's postmodern culture of adults and students
is so consumed by non-judgmentalism
that there are some who say
we should not even call wrong or evil
the terrorists that attacked America
on September 11, 2001.
In a Time magazine essay entitled
"God Is Not on My Side. Or Yours,"
Roger Rosenblatt offers the philosophical
underpinnings of the live-and-let-live rule
for global terrorism:

One would like to think that God
is on our side against the terrorists,
because the terrorists are wrong and
we are in the right, and any deity worth his salt
would be able to discern that objective truth.
But this is simply good-hearted arrogance
cloaked in morality-the same kind of thinking
that makes people decide that God created humans
in his own image. The God worth worshipping
is the one who pays us the compliment
of self-regulation, and we might return it
by minding our own business.

At least the "arrogance" of recognizing
the difference between right and wrong
is "good-hearted," even if the reactions to it
aren't. Alison Hornstein, for instance,
is a student at Yale University who observed
the disconnect between tolerance and reality.
Writing on "The Question That We Should Be Asking-
Is Terrorism Wrong?" in the December 17, 2001 issue
of Newsweek, Alison noted, "My generation
may be culturally sensitive, but we hesitate
to make moral judgments." While that might
be putting it mildly, she goes on to say:

Student reactions expressed in the daily newspaper
and in class pointed to the differences
between our life circumstances and those
of the [9/11] perpetrators, suggesting
that these differences had caused
the previous day's events. Noticeably absent
was a general outcry of indignation
at what had been the most successful terrorist attack
of our lifetime. These reactions and similar ones
on other campuses have made it apparent
that my generation is uncomfortable assessing,
or even asking whether a moral wrong has taken place.

Hornstein further describes how on September 12th-
one day after Islamic extremists
murdered more than 3,000 people on American soil-
one of her professors:

did not see much difference
between Hamas suicide bombers and American soldiers
who died fighting in World War II.
When I saw one or two students nodding in agreement,
I raised my hand. …. American soldiers, in uniform,
did not have a policy of specifically targeting civilians;
suicide bombers, who wear plainclothes, do.
The professor didn't call on me.
The people who did get a chance to speak
cited various provocations for terrorism;
not one of them questioned its morality.

If Americans don't start to judge
and punish evil instead of accepting all ideas
and beliefs as equal, we will become a nation
that welcomes same-sex marriage,
polygamy, pedophilia, incest, euthanasia,
and likely a host of moral aberrations
so bizarre they're still hidden
in the darkest reaches of the Internet.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say,

"you know we are not to judge people;

even the Bible says 'judge not lest you be judged'."

Americans had better start getting comfortable
with politically in-correct, non-humanistic forms
of making intelligent judgments on moral issues
because even if we don't make them, I'm concerned
there is Someone very willing
to hold our nation accountable
for what we allow.
And He doesn't respond well
to intimidation, name-calling, flawed logic,
or being quoted out of context.

This is a excellent topic that is very miss understood and used by every Atheist and other anti Christian to insult Christians by telling them they are judging.

God and Jesus didn't forbid judging they encouraged it.Any time you are dealing with a good or bad person you have to judge them to determine if you should stay away or assoicate with them.If we truly were not to judge then we would never tell anyone they were a sinner, never tell anyone what they were doing was ungodly, unholy,or biblical wrong,we would embrace and assoicate with all people regardless if they were a serial killer, robber, rapist, etc. The bible clearly states on nearly every page what kind of people we should avoid and what kind of people we should associate with.

What Jesus was talking about is condeming a person with out knowing anything about them. Some good examples would be...calling a woman a prostitute simply because of the way she was dressed, calling someone a bum because they smell, assuming someone is a drunk because they are walking out of a bar etc.Another good example would be for a person to go to a court hearing and a judge saying he was guilty before the trial even started. This is the judgement Jesus was talking about.

Rightous judgement is never wrong.Judging people by their actions and their own admissions is not wrong. The bible tells us not to assoicate with murders, prostitues, socerrers, and unbelivers. So if someone tells me he is a Atheist or he or she practices witch craft. Then I am not wrong when I tell them I am not going to assoicate with them because they are a Atheist or practice witch craft.

Jesus said "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment" (John 7:24).

Would America be better off if we killed all the lawyers?

I mean to the last one...

Would we be better off?

I got to wonder about this!

What is the difference between a dead lawyer and a dead cat?

Skid marks before the cat.
