I would say that if your friend doesn't want to introduce you to her "attractive" friends, she probably feels that the "fun and games" you are "addicted to", may make you a bit unworthy of her friends companionship. Humm one never knows maybe the friend he is talking about has a thing for him, and never told him and does not want him to hook up with one of her friends.. Honestly that is no ones choice to make but his and the one he may be interested in.. As they say one never knows till they ask... both of these IMO are valid points.. just sayin lol |

not taking sides here folks.. lol but after reading everyone's answers.. this straight forward one seems to me to be the best approach.. go for it.. asking a friend for an intro is commendable.. but iffy if that friend is also a female and you're a guy.. as my dad (a very wise man) used to say.. "ya never know till ya ask.. what's the worst they cud say.. no?" |

Citadel S02 just dropped all 7 episodes.. shud be a good watch.. full of hi-octane action couldn't get into it finally and ended up ditching this one too.. another

started Man on Fire S01 which dropped all 7 eps on Apr 30th.. in 2 eps and honestly? not sure I'll make it to ep 3..
same with Secret Service S01 that just dropped all 5 eps.. got thru 2 eps but can't push myself into ep 3..
ended up ditching both Man on Fire & Secret Service.. not watch worthy in my book

breakfast is ready.. 
that's all's I'ma doin taday.. phew.. got a crick in ma neck.. guess I slept funny..
anudder be-u-ti-ful day in da hood.. partly cloudy with a brisk 61F.. ahhhhhhhh.. ma kinda day.. rain comin later so best git ma butt inta gear and git the lawn mowed.. not supposed ta rain tamarra but calling for rain til next wednesday so.. best hit it before it ends up lookin like a "field" of yard

well folks.. got the shelf built'n painted.. it's up and holdin several of ma potted annuals now.. decided ta set it under ma livingroom window instead of on the deck.. looks purdy
that coon showed up all "ya gonna feed me or what" instead I flipped him the bird'n told him ta go find food elsewhere.. haven't seen him since.. went out ta feed th'others tho just a bit ago.. they know me well enough ta just hang back a bit so I can fill their bowls.. they're the good boys.. and happily munchin away on their dinners.. well.. been a long'un so.. took over 3.5 hrs ta cut, build, paint'n install that shelf.. but it's 6' off the ground wit no way fer that coon ta climb up there so I'm happy.. have a good evenin y'all

ME.. ME.. *Zee races over to the bar and grabs 2 slices of the greasy pizza* I've been cravin one for awhile now.. never did order one in the end.. spent that on my eldest's b-day gift instead.. me happy camper now

happy Thor's day to ya.. lookin a tad overcast here with a slight (very slight) chill in the air.. PERFECT.. mind you.. there's a new "destructive" coon in da hood'n if I catch the fugger.. I'ma gonna skin him alive meself  tore up all my potted annuals last night..  made a mess on ma deck with dirt'n plants everywhere.. so.. today I's gonna build a shelf on the deck wall so's he can't touch'em..
I had other plans for ma time today but.. guess I'ma gonna clean up dat mess and do some buildin.. hope everyone has a super day

Just stopped in for the breakfast special... feeling well rested after getting the boat out for a while yesterday, hopefully back out on the weekend. Make sure you put cheese on my eggs

mornin.. oops.. afternoon folks
late start taday.. OMG I hurt EVERYwhere.. ugh.. did far too much yesterday'n paid for it last nite.. was up most of it walkin just ta stop da painful cramps.. had trouble getting outta bed this mornin.. but I wouldn't change a thing about yesterday.. oh.. maybe one.. I'd pick up more Peony plants
anywho.. gonna be a chill day taday.. of course I planted those I perennials I got yesterday tho.. imagine diggin in slow motion.. yup.. dat was me

holy friggen crickets..
 it's so quiet in here..
well folks.. been a long-azzed day.. phew.. I don't think I have a body part that isn't in pain it even hurts ta laugh but.. it was an amazing day well spent with my eldest.. we had a great time just hanging out together, laughing and poking fun at each other.. I am blessed with that one.. talked about everything'n nothing.. yup.. great day indeed..
anywho.. best get ma butt into bed before I can't move no more.. I may well be in traction tomorrow
