Don't let negative jerks on here take away your dreams. There are entry of good women looking for the same wonderful love filled relationship you are! If you lived closer I have several awesome friends in their 40's looking for a genuinely happy person to share heir lives with. There are plenty out there but the negative guys just cause us to give up and stop looking. It is easier to be alone and happy than with someone and miserable.

I WISH I cold get a good nights sleep so I could answer that question. I sleep for a few hours, then I am wide awake and cannot fall back to sleep. As a result, I am dragging all day and consume any and all kinds of caffeine. My new favorite is the JOLT caffeine gum. I love coffee but I suck at making it(always make it too strong).

might as well give it a try since honesty doesn't seem to get me too far on here...

My daughter graduated high school last year(2009), and when she started college last summer, so did I. I had never gone to college, so it was a little scary, although the moving away and starting over was the hardest part!
I am in an RN program that is very intense. 15 month RN Associates degree, 2.5 Bachelors online and one more online after that for the masters.
So far, it has beena lot easier than I expected. The hardest part is being away from my friends in PA. I cannot wait to get my RN and move back home!
At the tiem I started abck to school, I was 46 and had not been in school for 27 years, but I ACED the entrance exams that the recent graduates struggled with and I am in honor society, so that keeps the young kids from picking on me too much!

It seems to be a thing with people formt he depression era. My aprents are pretty morbid and most of my friends' parents are as well. I can remember hearing my parents talking about how, "You will miss me when I'm gong" and "I might not be here next week" and things like that all my life. Pretty weird if you ask me, but it seems to be what they do!

HAve you thought of going on a weekend spiritual retreat of some kind to heal your soul? You don't deserve this pain and never have. Shame on your family for being so judgemental. No child should have to jump throught hoops to try to earn their parents love which should be unconditional.
HIs homophobia is HIS problem, don't make it yours. Love is love. Doesn't matter if the giver is male or female or a dog for that matter. Love heals all wounds. Get as far away from these poison people so your can heal and find true love and happiness in your life.
I am glad you didn't take your own life when he said and did those hurtful things to you. You seem like a person with a huge soul and you have a lot of gifts to share with the world. Letting go of this hurt is the only way you will be able to move on and find happiness. Let it go.

You say she is making your life miserable, but it looks like you are doing a great job of that yourself by not doing anything to amke the situation better and just whining about how bad it is.
MAN UP! Go get help and work on your relationship and stop blaming her for it being crappy. She did not get herself pregnant. IF you truly want things to get better, put some work into it to make that happen.

Even worse are the people who email you this kind of pre made form letter that looks like they jsut copy and paste to evey woman on her to see who answers. They are usually full of fluff about how the guy loves romance and you are the the perfect woman for him. Um...yeah, and he woud know this from reading my profile????
I finad a simple "Hello, how are you this evening?" to be a good opener. When I answer an email, I usually try to ask one or two questions about the person to keep the conversation rolling and find it helps if the man does the same in return.

If it were me, I'd have to tell her straight up that her life is miserable because she makes it that way! I would tell her if she wants to be my friend, I will not continue to listen to her whining. End of story. She can either face reality or go away. Her choice.

Work hard and your life will be easier.
