A lone missionary is traveling in the Amazon when he finds himself suddenly surrounded by a tribe of angry, hungry cannibals. In his distress he cries out "Oh God, I'm screwed!"

Suddenly a voice from Heaven speaks and replies, "No, you are not screwed! Pick up the large stone at your feet, and bash in the head of the chief of the tribe, who is standing before you."

The man does as the voice commands, and after a struggle, he stands panting, exhausted, in front of the chief's corpse and a very surprised and angry tribe. The voice speaks again: "Okay, NOW you're screwed."

We put our styles in the blender and the tape on our spectacles
We compile the assembler; we’d each make a respectable
Egon Spengler; your despicable, heckling, snide remarks make it
all the more delectable to mark a Jeckyl & Hyde departure from the
Larger norm or previous status quo, the clever d1cks
like us apply the baddest flow to limericks, and that is no mere
Rhetoric. We don’t just wreck shop, we mop the shop floor
With rappers who romanticize their third eyes when we’ve got four
Each, and we exceed your reach, we’re world wide
Webslingers with the combined military might of the Girl Guides
Dead ringers for the lone gunmen, or maybe Jonathan, Andrew and
Warren from Season Six of BtVS, we’re geniuses and we’re devious
We’re seen as fresh on the BBS where we write graf in ascii files
With nasty styles and blinking blocks,
this ain’t your father’s Lincoln Logs!
The Frontalot ownz j00, and Stephen Hawking r0x0rs
We’re not even talking solely to cats with argyle in their sock drawers
Our styles got the top score spot, yours did not, sorry!
Stick to the shockwave games, lickin’ shots at the top
Forty! I made my own Doom .wads, d1ckwad,
My own sprites and .mus files, I stayed home nights...

It's the end of the world as we know it!

It's the end of the world, yes it is.

It's the end of the world as we know it!

And I feel fine.

Okay, it was two desks. They were the big cubicle kind they make you take tests in and their backs were pushed up against each other...ANYWAY...

The first step toward becoming that man you always wanted to be is realizing you've got a problem, as cliche as it sounds. The second is taking responsibility for your actions.

You're well on your way, my friend.

The Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers

Just about anything by Orson Scott Card, but especially "Ender's Game"

I heard Isaac Asimov wrote a terrible book once. I looked and looked and looked and never found it. All he has is a plethora of amazing ones...oh well.

Anyting by Terry Pratchett, especially his Discworld series

I actually thought Jane Eyre was good, and my sister insists almost everything else Jane Austen wrote is good too.

You have obviously studied the Venusian Arts or at least read "The Game". haha I have too but looks do matter less to women but they still matter

Haha...neither, believe it or not. Though I do know about Neil Strauss and the rest of the "Seduction Community."

Actually, I used to BE part of the "community" myself, which is where I got a lot of my insight. I realized there were some basic flaws with what they teach, though, so I've done a lot of growing and thinking and learning and watching of my own.

Yes, society and your experiences have some very specific things to say about what does and doesn't create and keep attraction. Thing is, society and experiences are very good liars. Not that it's on purpose...they just don't know any better. (Believe me, they got me too. You should have seen me two years ago! laugh) I'm sure you've heard it said that your worldview defines how you see and think? You're brought up to believe that looks matter to women--even women are brought up to believe looks matter to women--so you take hold of the evidence that supports that, and subconsciously toss the rest into the garbage, so to speak. You don't even realize you're doing it.

When I say that a woman would "rather have this" or "doesn't want that," I'm not talking about a conscious preference. I'm talking about subconsicous, primal, instinctual things that she probably doesn't even realize. Attraction is subconscious, it's illogical, and it's magnetic, to a point that will drive humans to do incredibly stupid, dangerous, evil, daring, amazing, wonderful, beautiful things.

laugh well though looks aren't everything to women I wouldn't say that looks have ZERO to do with it

I'm not just spouting nonsense. What would you honestly rather have, a butt-ugly guy who's nevertheless "centered," who can walk into a new club and instantly have the most fun out of everyone there, who knows who he is, what his values and boundaries are...or the hottest man in the world, who's still living with his mother in the basement and can't hold down a job?

girls think im ugly and stuff but i dont really care what the girls look like its what u feel on the inside not what u see on the outside but most girls want hott guys with abbs and stuff like that....

No they don't. They don't care. Women would rather have a man who carries himself with confidence, who knows who he is and where he's going, more than some douche with abs.

The only reason girls seem to go for guys with abs is because everyone says "guys with abs get laid." So they carry themselves with that confidence because it's been programmed into them that that's what girls want. Get it?

They say you're ugly because they themselves don't understand why they're attracted to some guys and unattracted to others.

"If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always got."

Women aren't attracted to looks like men are. Actually, looks have absolutely zero to do with it. They want men, not boys who happen to look like men. Ask yourself this, ponder it, chew on the question: Have you grown up yet, or just grown older?

Being a true man means having a completely different perspective on life. Have you chosen your own path, or has society dictated to you what you like and don't like? What your fears and comforts are? When you walk into a room full of strangers, do you own the room or does it own you? Would it really be that bad if you let loose and enjoyed yourself in a room where the tension is almost palpable?

There's a point where you just walk through the world with ease...where life is like a feather on your shoulders, instead of a burden. It's a journey to get there, and it's very rarely easy, but once you get there, your "women problem" will take care of itself.
