Why?

Because we're evolutionary programmed to do it. Men have a built in desire to have sex with as many women as possable. This works for men because he can spread his genes with a number of partners, therefore increasing his genes long term survival.

Women on the other hand cannot increase the number of offspring by having a more partners. So, they go for high quality. Maybe she's not attractive enough to keep a high quality man of her own, but she may be able to attract one for a short term romp. Then she can trick her long term partner into thinking her child is actually his. Or, if she has a number of partners, none of them can be sure if they are the father or not and will all contribute the the child's well being.

But, none of us have to cheat. It is a choice we make. But, the desire to cheat is built into all of us.

If a someone cheats only once in there whole life are they still considered a cheater or a slut?

The only love that is real is unconditional.....love would never ask the things we ask of each other, we put conditions on it in our human-ness. Stipulations, promises, wanting guarantees...no such thing. Real love knows this, we just don't.

How realistic are you in what you expect in someone?

ok, here is the situation.

I saw this woman(we will call her "melissa") for about a year, and we ended up getting pregnant with twins. I was with her for the whole pregnancy, but when I was out at AT(annual training) she left me. the day i got back was the day that she had the babies(two beautiful boys btw Caleb Joespeh and Carter James). I did not see them until they were 4 days old(on fathers day of this year june 20th). after that, i got to see them about once a week. then about a month and a half ago, she suddenly moved in with this guy that she didnt even know and started a relationship with him. after the relationship failed, she comes crying back to me wanting me back. I will admit that i still do have feelings for her, but i dont want to be hurt again. what do you all think i should do?

I'd think it far odder of you to be so upset about it.

Just shrug your shoulders and move on. You don't know the reason they made the decision they did to have that restriction. It's a waste of energy to get bent out of shape over it.

the more oneself declare anything else as odd, the more narrow minded itself hath become?

Ok, so just follow me here for a minute or two and just think about it!

So, let's say you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend. So you do your daily stuff together, watch movies, clean the bedroom, go shopping etc.
Or both of you head to work and come back home during the evening.

Take showers hop into the bed, start watching something on TV or pop in a movie.

Then either you or your partner start to have these animalistic instincts. Or both of you at the same time..who cares.

Then from a basic sensation of touching each other organs and body parts, your hormones begin to work and there is this chemical reaction takes place in your body and also in your brain. You continue to incite others by using various technics, involving your fingers, your tongue and your lips and both of your entire bodies become nothing but a giant sex organ that reacts to these stimulations of wanting more.

Just from this part of sticking your male organ into the female organ you do this for a certain amount of time, let's say 1hour 25 minutes, for which you delay a certain reaction to take place which cause something we call a climax..and at the end of a successful operation from both sides, you and your partner lies there exhausted.

Now it's time to sleep and "somehow" you feel satisfied and your problems seem to be gone for a few minutes and the only thing counted for you was to execute this certain instinct produced behavior and cause "pleasure" to your partner while making sure you enjoy it too.

Once your hormone levels and testosterone levels return to normal and you recover this whole experience just becomes a memory. If you are good enough like certain people, you can also repeat this entire activity about 20-30 minutes later, and perhaps you can keep repeating this until you are physically exhausted. Some people are very doing this stuff, thanks to their physical strength, stamina and treshold and sexual drive.

But at the end you are exhausted and you will eventually fall asleep. And you have to deal with all these problems, just because you traded your available sleeping hours to an activity which only lasted only a few hours from the rest of the 24 of the day.
