How realistic are you in what you expect in someone? I think Im very realistic,,just not very hopeful,,,lol I want similar characteristics to the ones I have myself, similar values,, and I figure I cant possibly be TOO unique to find it,,, time will tell |

Me too Ms harmony. I am realistic, i just can't seem to find anyone I am particularly interested in, and vice versa it seems.

I am realistic, i just can't seem to find anyone I am particularly interested in, and vice versa it seems. yeah, it seems the longer I stay on my own, the more accustomed I am becoming to not having to 'deal' with anyone else, and the less I am actually even 'looking' for anyone on a romantic level the hardest part for me is the balance of what I want,, itd be great to find a man who is a balance of strong and humble,, many strong ones are too pompous, or arrogant though and many humble ones are too weak and childish/victimish |

well i originally came here hoping to meet some guys, but just the company of the forums have distracted me in a way I am no longer really seeking that attention I guess. I have gone out a few times with some guys from here and elsewhere but I suppose I do have a slight guard up after a 12 year relationship. I wish there was a nice guy who wants friendship and relationship, seems like its either or around here.

yeah, it's either dive right in or just casual friends. Who knows, maybe if we wait long enough one of the friends will develop into something real.

I am on other sites, i have been dating a lot, just hard narrowing it down to someone who really catches my interest that feels the same about me.

Funny thing is, I dont even use other sites!! LOL...I've looked at them before, but it takes to much time I think.

a lot of them cost money too. One of the other sites I use is singleparent meet. It has a lot more people from so cal. than here. I like it because they all have kids mostly as well. Problem is arranging time between all the children, lol

I use other sites for specifics types of connections(ie christian, interracial, black, etc,,,) this site has such a random selection its harder to pinpoint things that match

but don't you notice there is alot of the same people posting on here? there are new people that post, but i see alot of profiles that say the person hasn't been on in quite some time.

yay i notice about 20 regular people that are generally on here posting during the same times i am. I kind of like it though, feels more friendly. Of course i welcome new people too. i am pretty new, but it is nice talking to the regular group. allows me to get to know them better.
