Not quite 24, but I'm pulling an overnight CQ shift, yeah.

A country that not only accepts, but embraces diversity and free
thought. Hell, just look at the current presidential candidates, if
that's not acceptance of diversity, what would you call it?

I can't speak for all men, but speaking for myself:

I would never want a "yes" girl. I want a free thinking woman with a
great personality, self confidence and ambition in life. I can't say I
like to argue, but a difference in opinion can often lead to a
compromise that better benefits both of us. Noone is right all the time,
we all need someone there to broaden our horizens

I wish your son the best of luck, and hope that he does come home safe
and unharmed. Thank you for the support, it's very refreshing and rare
these days.

If you keep peace with a gun you will be forced to use it.

For every man you shoot 4 of his family will rise up and swear
vengence."

See now, that's exactly the kind of talk I'm referring to. Once again I
ask that you try to understand. Though I speak for myself here, and
this may not carry through the entire military; We do not go to Baghdad
with the intention of "shooting a man". We go to Baghdad with the
intention of preserving order and peace so that people do not have to
die (not just our soldiers, but the Iraqi people as well). If ever my
weapon is used, it is only for self preservation, or the protection of
innocent life. In contrast, those that our shooting at us do so with
the pure intention of killing us. To them, to kill just 1 of us is a
war victory for that individual. How can you possibly incinuate that we
are "death enforcers" in the light of that contrast?

You know, I honestly can't think of one thing I "Hate" about myself. I
can think of many things I might be able to improve on, but I can't
bring myself to "Hate" anything about me... Overall I'd say I'm pretty
happy, thanks for the offer though

Oh no, not at all. I don't "believe in it all", in fact I'm
anti-democratic and can't wait to see bush leave. I do however know
that peacekeeping is EXACTLY what is needed in Baghdad right now.
Although we should limit our participation in patrols, and allow the
Iraqi people to handle it, a neutral party IS needed to keep the peace.
For us to pull out now would mean total chaos, and the eventual
destruction of Baghdad, not to mention future wars on our own land.

And peacekeeper is a reference to the unit I belong to, which is a
Military Police unit.

Oh come on now, being an american is great! In what other country is
there such a diversity in religion, philosophy, and political standing?
It bores me to the teeth to hear these hippies (please excuse that
expression, I don't mean to generalize, but I can't think of a better
term at the moment) complain about the only government that allows then
to so freely. The freedom half of them talk about is just as fanatic,
if not more so, as the insurgent groups who believe that killing any
"non believer" is the path to rightiousness. Pragmatism is NOT freedom,
in fact it's closer to communism. If you really want to have an
opinion, visit Baghdad once, talk to the good people there, and watch
the bad. Then come back and tell me if you really feel we're in the
wrong.

Understand that the people shooting at me do so out of a desire to kill
me. I shoot back only out of a desire to survive.

On the contrary. I'm not fighting for a religious cause, or out of the
influence from a pragmatic society. Really, I'm not fighting at all.
If it was up to me, I'd do this next deployment (Baghdad in december),
and never once have to fire my weapon. I'm simply stating that my
choice of profession benefits from war, although this may not be a good
thing for society itself, it's a good thing for me. You can call this
selfish all you want, but in the end all anyone is out to do is better
themselves, and help the people they love. For me this job security,
money, and benefits involved will allow me to help my family and the
people I care about. Do I support the war? No, of course not, it's a
political and religious mess, as all wars are... but it pays me.

Just to recap so far...

It was a long time ago, and far away, when she saw a large frog with
purple spots (that could sing, and even dance). "Wow!" she said. This
frog was a little retarded, but not as dumb as the guy that found out he
was wearing galoshes in the middle of the desert sand, and nothing else
but a hat (made from the feathers of a small billy goat that smelled
like old gym socks. <Which> He came across while looking for an old
friend, who had once helped him with an erectile disfunction that made
him

The Inspirer

In love, you are passionate and eager to develop a strong bond.
For you, sex should be playful, creative, and affectionate.

Overall, you are perceptive and bring out the best in your partner.
However, you tend to hold on to bad relationships after they've turned
bad.
