Stop doing the work for her. Once they realize that the patients aren't getting what they need because of her negligence, they'll do something about it. Just stop doing it though! The patients/residents should not suffer for her laziness and I admire your attitude about that. As a manager, I encourage you to talk to HER. Nothing works better than a conversation between the two of you. Tell her how her behavior makes you feel. Bringing the charge nurse into it will only escalate the situation as the other girl will feel you "told on her" and this can cause an uncomfortable work environment. I have found when two employees talk to each other, things work out better, and faster! |

I vacation in St. Petersburg, Florida a couple times a year. I walk on the beach in the morning for exercise and go to the beach in the evening to watch the sunset. There is just something about the beach that refreshes my spirit.

As my mother said, she has never seen a kid go to kindergarten in a diaper. But I know some daycares require a child be potty trained by a certain age. I agree, give it some time, they usually decide to do it on their own time table. Have you tried the cherios in the potty? It's like target practice (and from what I can tell,,, training for being a man). Hey!! You start there, then move up to writing your name in the snow.
