I like to think I don't get jealous but I think maybe I am

No, I'm not a jealous person, but I have suffered from one.
It left scars that will never fade. |

Yeah I know what you mean my ex was the jealous type and was always accusing me of being unfaithful etc. But my being jealous, I just end the relationship before I end up getting hurt or not. In other words if I suspect that maybe I'm being "played", I'm gone.I think maybe I just need to learn to be more communicative (?) and ask the person, hey! are you not happy with me? than let me know now.

No....Even if there was a someone to get jealous over.

Well, I don't rate suspecting being played as jealousy at all.
It's caution, born from experience, and there is nothing wrong with it. I, too, would end a relationship, and actually a short time ago did end a relationship, when I suspect that things are not as they should be. |

i will tell u about my jealousy issues.
i dress in old clothes cause i have a dog or 2, and wear a black burglar hat over my head cause i need a haircut. my hair is kinda growing out. then, i am on a diet cause i used to be a size 12, and before i kick it, i am going to get down there again. and finally, i am going to get rid of those chicken wings that suddenly crept under my arm, plus that celulite that has camped on my asp. so what do i c the other day, a lovely woman who was very skinny, dressed in tight legged trouser pants, with a brilliant blue blouse on and skinny arms w/no underhang. she had a lovely hair cut, and i tried to figure out if she dyed her hair, but it was impossible to tell. then, i noticed her lovely gold earrings, that framed her exquisitely beautiful face touched up with just a slight amount of the right colored makeup. then, i tried to figure if she had any cellulite and it was impossible to see of course, so i guessed nope. then, later i noticed she had huge diamonds on her fingers indicating a significant other that supports all this plus her silver shiny toyota camry. so i went home, looked in the mirror, and decided to make some changes. call it jealousy or a wakeup call. name it what u wish. |

Thank you invisible, that clarifies a few things for me, and Duffy you look great the way you are. And we nver know.....that woman might of been just "fronting it" because material things in some peoples minds equal happiness.

I am not the jealous type... but what I AM is territorial. If another woman comes on to my man then I expect him to address the issue. If he doesn't... then he just may lose his place in line.

I have experienced jealousy, but learned it was an attempt to control something I had no right to control. It would mean I wasn't handling a situation properly, suspect something, ask so you know the truth. If it causes you to feel jealous; better deal with it or end it. Jealousy not handled will simply cause strife.
Now I do experience some envy, once in awhile. Seeing something, I might wish one of the participants was ME. |
