Going to go listen to the rest on the list, you left above...right now. There's some pretty crazy stuff on those pages. Most were sparked by inspiration from forum conversations, so they may have made more sense in that context. I wrote all the lyrics. But Reverend Rabbit designed music and performed most of them. I tried to sing a few myself. |

Ok...finally had a chance to hear your lyrics put to music..
not bad what you and Rabbit did there..not bad!!! Has an entirely different sound of course, from "Fantasy for Flute and Guitar".....and although all the music and lyrics in the other pieces are great, I think "Fantasy is AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE!!!!!!!!!! Don't change one iota of that work....perfect! Abra... are there more to come, like "Fantasy"? SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL...... |

Also I could not hear the flute piece either.
You couldn't open the page at all? Or just not the music? Maybe there's an error in the HTML code that some browswers don't like. I typed it in by hand, lemmi go check the code. It's such a tiny page! Could you open any of the other pages on my site? Maybe I need to call my ISP and see what's going on. I've never had people report a problem before. I was able to listen and see the light show.....It was magnifico abra.....enjoyed it alot.......Why not open up music classes at your home....that is what my daughter does we go to the teachers house....only way done here in Calif....You very gifted Mr....thanks for the share...I would love to hear more.. |

are there more to come, like "Fantasy"? I don’t know. I’m loosing my ability to think anymore. I think it might be related to lack of oxygen. I think I’m on my way to that higher level of existence everyone keeps talking about. Here’s a song I made from a poem I wrote. I used piano for accompaniment and the trumpet for the melody. I can’t sing this song myself. So it’s an instrumental right now. You’ll have to follow the lyrics as trumpet “sings” them. It’s called “Silence Fills My Ears”. http://www.csonline.net/designer/ideas/silence.htm This is the one of the very first pieces of music I composed. I composed it on the piano using a poem I had written for the lyrics. Then I added the trumpet for the melody because I can’t sing. Warning – It may cause boredom if you aren’t reading the lyrics with the music. |

I could not read the lyrics and hear the music at the same time so I listened to the music without even looking at the lyrics. You are wrong. (It did not cause boredom.) Without ever seeing the lyrics the music was very sad. I could see two people in the music. One, in pain,(the trumpet) the other (the piano) The piano was a kind and understanding energy. The trumpet was in pain, crying. The music speaks. JB |

Here's a silly instrumental I wrote for Redydeulous.
It's a light-hearted bluegrass style banjo and guitar piece. http://www.csonline.net/designer/ideas/repykulous.htm |

(tears of joy) The ony thing is, Abra.....let the music FLOW smoothly..no breaks....no pauses.. no interruptions.... the trumpet part is down perfect .... but let the piano piece flow flow flow....ever so smoothly, to tie it all together in one perfect composition.... other than that.... PERFECTO!! Got More??? Abra? Are you even aware how gifted you are? oh....and I like the idea of the poetry(lyrics) being read along with the music, and not neccesarily sung at all. Just include the words to be read, but Keep it purely instrumental...much better effect... Something different...... GOT MORE, ABRA? MORE!!! MORE!!! |

And btw,Greg(Rabbit) does a darn good job with that guitar, in those other pieces you two put together!!
The style of music is different, but still good, in those other pieces, as well. |

Btw..if anyone ever has a chance ,listen to an instrumental called "A Love So Beautiful"..... read the lyrics, along with the instumental... awesome piece also.....Abra's "Silence", brought to mind that particular piece....... |

Well that piano/trumpet piece was hard to write. It’s easier to play in real life. The music you heard was actually generated from the sheet music program. So it plays precisely the score as I type it. And it’s hard to type ‘feeling’ into score. I still haven’t figure out how to make the sheet music program ‘strum’ a guitar like I do live. So I have to resort to finger-picking in sheet music. Same thing goes with the piano. I can play a chord with more feeling on the piano live. But in the sheet music program about all I know how to do is pounce on it. Also, I have absolutely no clue what I’m doing with music. I jump from one key to another and then can’t figure out how to get back. So I us the ‘pause’ technique. Just let the music “vanish” and jump back into it again in the new harmony and no one will ever know I changed keys. Actually Reverend Rabbit (Greg) is much better with the music than I am. He understands the modulation techniques and all of that. He has been a great help to me in that area. I really need a music teacher. Even though I want to be one. It’s funny though, I think there are things I can teach beginners that would get them making music quickly even though I don’t fully understand all the technicalities myself. I think I could teach someone to play an instrument better than I can play it. The teacher doesn’t need to be as good as the student. The teacher just need to be able to tell the student what to do. The student may actually have more skill to perform the task than the teacher does. That doesn’t negate the value of the teacher. I’m working on writing “Artgurl” up as an instrumental for flute and guitar. I’m working on it right now, but it’s a bit choppy. It’s hard to get it to FLOW in a sheet music program. |
