The stores can't keep the water stocked. I heard they had restocked but when I got there nothing. I don't think they are taking into consideration the moms and elderly that need things. And that some live paycheck to paycheck.

Question.... they are telling us to cover our cough with the crook of our elbow, then we suppose to bump elbows instead of shaking hands
How is that any different then covering my cough with the back of my hand then shaking hands? |

Question.... they are telling us to cover our cough with the crook of our elbow, then we suppose to bump elbows instead of shaking hands How is that any different then covering my cough with the back of my hand then shaking hands? It does sound odd KitKat. But, we don't use our elbows to touch our eyes or mouth. If we shake hands with an infected person, then touch our eyes, we infect ourselves. So perhaps that's a suggestion to prevent us from catching it in that way? |

I've just been to the supermarket and there were a lot of empty shelves, mostly bread, tinned and dried goods. No toilet rolls or hand sanitizer or anti-bacterial sprays. At least the extinction is proceeding in an orderly fashion with queues .

I was thinking about tying a strip of toilet paper to my rear belt loop and walking thru Walmart. Bet I'd have more followers than Facebook.
I so want to make a sign and post it on HWY 90 saying "Free Toilet Paper" in big bold letters. I could take a roll down to the beach while wearing an overcoat and sunglasses. 10 bucks a sheet. (Junkies will pay anything for a fix) My luck I'd get caught and end up doing time for selling unregulated toilet paper. Beware of Knock Offs! It 'looks' like it would work but it is actually A roll of disc diameter 6 In. Abrasive Grit 280 Sandpaper. I've noticed with the short supply of toilet paper, stores are selling out of plastic spoons. I can see how that would work, kinda? Pretty soon eBay will have 'gently used' toilet paper available. It won't be long before the states close their borders to try to keep toilet paper from escaping. Your car will be thoroughly searched for TP stashes and violators will go directly to jail and their cars impounded. I'm just sayin...Cats are self-cleaning. That crazy ole cat lady down the street is so crazy after-all. Crazy like a fox! When using a cat, there is a right side and a wrong side...a VERY wrong side! Yes, I am full of it...I already used my daily allowance of toilet paper. Living in fear of the wet fart! A man goes to see his shrink. He's completely frazzled, jumping at everything. Refuses to let go of his roll of toilet paper. Come to find out he lives with his grandmother and she has walking farts. This fear-mongering is a ploy to get more people to purchase a bidet. While the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) still considers COVID-19 to be a low threat to the general American public, the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (GCVHCS) is paying special attention to it.
As part of this process, everyone who enters the campus will be pre-screened for toilet paper. This may lengthen entry times, so patients are advised to allow for that when arriving for their appointments. To expedite this process please have all toilet paper available for inspection. The Biloxi VA Clinic understands these actions may be inconvenient to some, however, these common sense measures will help protect those who trust VA for their care and the employees that provide their toilet paper to those in need. Veterans with scheduled appointments should plan to attend and complete appointments as they normally would while considering extra toilet paper needed for screening. Thank You I've noticed a lot of PPP2 (Poor People Poop 2) charity donation boxes lately at stores. Consider donating a roll today. Being poor doesn't have to stink. WARNING: Banks have suspended personal loans up to $2,000.00 for toilet paper. There is a rumor that Family Dollar is now accepting 'used' trade-ins for toilet paper purchases. I assure you, they are not. Use caution when buying toilet paper from the trunk of a car in Walmart parking lot. You have no idea where its been. I don't fear a shortage of toilet paper as much as I fear a sewage worker strike. Kids are not as affected by corona virus because they're just little shidders. I wonder if 'silver platters' will go on sale? |

The stores can't keep the water stocked. I heard they had restocked but when I got there nothing. I don't think they are taking into consideration the moms and elderly that need things. And that some live paycheck to paycheck. Oh geezz... Thank goodness we don't have that problem. We don't have to buy drinking water in a shop, it comes out of the tap :) Our water is among the best in the world. I read from an angry/upset woman the other day whose family get paid per week since they're under curator's control (due to debt), so she cannot get extra stuff in as she doesn't have that kind of money. |

Then it's still on your hands, rubs off easier on other things then, plus when you shake hands the other's fingers curl around the back of yours. We are urgently asked to NOT shake hands at all anymore btw... |

I've just been to the supermarket and there were a lot of empty shelves, mostly bread, tinned and dried goods. No toilet rolls or hand sanitizer or anti-bacterial sprays. At least the extinction is proceeding in an orderly fashion with queues . Hahaha, you English and queuing. Yesterday the shelves here were still well-stocked, except the meat section was about half empty. But they get supplied several times a day so there's no need to stock up and panic. That's what their newsletter says. As long as Germans stay away... they always empty the shop as it is. Belgians came to our province over the weekend since much in their country is closed. This resulted in many shops, all restaurants, pubs etc. now forced to close too, to keep the Belgian tourists away mostly. Since all these venues are closed on my island too now, I do think most Germans will stay away. That's nothing to do with not liking them, but not wanting outsiders bringing the virus here. |

Coronavirus Cases: 179,927 worldwide
Deaths: 7,098 Recovered: 78,326 8,795,944 Abortions this year 1,699,768 Deaths caused by cancer this year 203,007 Deaths caused by malaria this year 1,034,621 Deaths caused by smoking this year 517,639 Deaths caused by alcohol this year 279,382 Road traffic accident fatalities this year 100,579 Seasonal flu deaths this year 2,686,801 Communicable disease deaths this year (yes, coronavirus is included) While it is good for people to be informed, the media is fearmongering. The fearmongering is causing sheeple to react excessively. I don't find coronavirus funny. What I find funny is the sheeple reaction to the fearmongering created by the media. |

There are much worse concerns To come than toilet paper shortages Think about that when you're on the bog and there is nothing to be found anymore... Sure it's still on the rise here. Quite logical. We were one of the last to get it, even though surrounded by countries who already had lots had it, esp Germany. So you can expect to get it here too at some point and then for it to go up in numbers. Nothing unusual or out of the blue. Hospitals etc were ready for when this would happen. Infection rates vary greatly in different areas. So far not many in my province. China is likely over its peak of cases, and a great many have healed. This gives a bit of an indication of how long it's going to last. I wouldn't get the champagne out yet. Almost every country has cases, including NZ, and even countries who didn't have any a few days back. Being the last to join the party doesn't mean you get off easy. Too soon to tell, although I hope things will go different. |

The fearmongering is causing sheeple to react excessively. I don't find coronavirus funny. What I find funny is the sheeple reaction to the fearmongering created by the media. Like I stated, the public needs to be informed. Communicable disease has the potential to get out of hand very quickly with high population. From a health care point of view, it can get very serious. However, the fearmongering is doing more damage to quality of life than the coronavirus. Overreaction is comical. You can't read a newspaper, turn on the TV or radio without seeing some way the fearmongering from this is spreading. Search Google for "coronavirus" results in 3,750,000,000 results (0.66 seconds). There's 1,440,000,000 videos right now. Its like someone lit a match in a theater and pulled the fire alarm! The problem with media fearmongering is it can lead to Cassandra complex. Cassandra Complex - The name given to a phenomenon where people who predict bad news or warnings are ignored or outright dismissed. With a world population of nearly 8 billion people, sooner or later a lethal pandemic will happen. Its not an 'if' but a 'when'. When it happens, people are going to be so accustomed to the media crying wolf, the actions needed to contain the pandemic will not reach believing ears. Fearmongering is rampant in the world's media. Here in the states, we have Storms of the Century, Worst Winter yet to come, Super Heatwave to hit later this week, Bomb Cyclones, Killer Fires, Deadly Temperatures, hell Florida was basically evacuated over a cat 2 hurricane. Bam, bam, bam...week after week, month after month, year after year media fearmongering crisis mode. People reacting like idiots. Last week the TV reported ONE case in Biloxi. You would think Katrina was coming. Water, toilet paper, canned goods, batteries, ramen noodles disappeared from the stores. Local entertainment venues have become ghosted. Got a notification that due to the coronavirus, Mississippi Power is suspending terminations. My son told me my grandson has no school until further notice. I'm 58 years old in poor health. If I contract this, I could die. I sit back and watch my community freak out. Its funny to me. |

We Melmacians would never wipe ourselves with our food. Yes, I thought of you when I wrote it. I realize you Melmacians are much calmer and cooler than human sheeple but it was to stress to you how severe the condition (fearmongering) really is. Severe enough to cause a Melmacian to wipe with their food. Okay, cue a lettuce shortage... |
