If there is a major outbreak (and that's by no means likely) Star Anise is an excellent anti-viral treatment. I'm not sure if that'd work? If it did work against serious viruses we wouldn't have had millions die in the past due to flue pandemics. Although most of these were during Christian times when people had been cut off from their pagan knowledge. Hmm... Tamiflu is derived from Star Anise. Star Anise will be less effective but if it's all that you've got available, better than nothing. sooo...you're saying licorice will save us all...??? i'm sooooo gonna die!!! |

I'm laughing now...
At the morons around the globe, for hoarding toilet paper. It's a respiratory ailment. NOT diarrhea.. |

I'm laughing now... At the morons around the globe, for hoarding toilet paper. It's a respiratory ailment. NOT diarrhea.. I've been puzzled as to why people are hoarding bog roll. Talked to my girl about it, she didn't know either, said it was bad in the US? But over here they had good bog roll on sale, the type I always buy, and I wanted to get some cos of the deal, nothing left! Today new stock came in, but shelf was already half empty again? Liquid handsoap too, but that's understandable. I forgot to get a new bottle for weeks (I also have normal soap). Yesterday I thought of it, barely any liquid soap left. I've begun stocking up on things too. Not cos I'm overly scared but because other people apparently are. OT on Corona... guidelines have changed as per today for the whole country. We already had them for one province, but now they go for everyone and everywhere cos it keeps spreading and too many with no traceable source. |

People are hoarding in case they have to self isolate and are not able to get to the shops. There is no toilet paper to be had in the UK either. My daughter phoned me an hour ago whilst shopping saying she couldn’t get toilet paper anywhere. She has 2 rolls left to do a family of 6. |

I know that's why they're hoarding in general but why the bog roll? I got myself 24 rolls today, my girl brought me some shopping, also got me 20 rols. So I'm okay for a while. 2 rolls for a family... Oh dear... Maybe try ordering delivery online from Tesco's or Asda. The online department may have stock still? |

It was on her order from Asda and they said they had to remove it from her basket as they had none in stock. Same with Tesco and Morrison’s. I’ll try and find some tomorrow for her |

My girl works in an office that sells all kinds of office supplies to companies. They were out of hand disinfectant. Then got another chit load in. Sold out immediately... THey sold for a ridiculous amount of money in one day on these kind of supplies, including masks, even though they're not the ones that potentially could help, only FFP2. And the price of these has gone up too. Insanity! In any case, if all else fails, go for kitchen towel and paper hankies. Better than nothing. I've used that before. If her house isn't ancient the sewage should be able to handle it... |

Likely social media is responsible for the panic buying of toilet paper . China is a major exporter of toilet paper and there were closures of that industry when cities were locked down . I guess that fear of not just self isolating but of cities being locked down is still a reality .
Psychologist claim that when people witness Others panic buying .. they Worry that all the stockpiling will in itself create a shortage of supplies and so join in . That happened recently in Australia and to some extent in the north of New Zealand . Manufacturers are issuing reassurance that there is no risk of shortages . Export and import is definitely affected by a pandemic . The longer travel bans are implemented and the more cities are locked down globally supply could become a concern for countries reliant on overseas trade for commodities . The virus Has several transmission modes and. is believed to be shed in faeces . Consider putting the toilet lid down before you flush (especially is using toilets outside your home ) . Flushing generates aerosols . I am considering investing in toilet paper shares lmao |

I'm 43 miles from the nearest incorporated town, and 5 miles away from any cluster of humans in this desert valley. I think I'll use the mustard leaves that are everywhere when I run out of paper, no worries. I'm poopin in a bottomless bucket with 2 two by fours on top for a seat, and burying it anyway. It's what us non human wild critters do. Think I'll stay away from civilization for awhile. not worried, but I ain't pressin matters either.
Man, the rain's cold tonight when I gotta pee. and I ain't puttin on any clothes for just that. Nakey, and in the low 50's.... Wind's about 20-30 mph too. glad I don't have to poo right now! |

There's a lot of panic buying here. Virtually nothing left on supermarket shelves and that's with only 790 confirmed cases and 10 deaths.
